@BillieBobSmith Totally fucked up? The refs broke it up because there was an oppurtunity to, seeing as Gill was simply trying to keep Rypien from punching. No good punches from Gill whatsoever, but a nice early left from Rypien.
If a team doesn't have a reputation for fighting, then it's going to get run by other teams. Personally, I don't care about fights. They don't contribute to the game directly. However, it is a sad fact that if teams don't get aggressive, others will step all over them. I have to side with Burke on this one :(

Most of the time, it's way to take out the aggression & frustration. & it can also pump your teammates up that you're fighting for them.
Everyone has different views on Hockey Fights, but to me personally, I love it.
Because usually, out of respect, they tap each other on the side or shoulder, then sometimes go out for a drink after the game.
