It doesn't necessairily help the economy, most of the workers end up mailing money back to their families who stayed behind in Mexico. Why should a hard-working natural born-American who has a low-paying job lose their job to some immigrant who works for less? It isn't fair, and it's becoming a problem. Just because they take the jobs most people don't want to do doesn't mean they can take whatever job they want. Ever watch a show called "South Park"? They have a full episode about this problem.

Legalizing drugs isn't that big of a deal, and here is why: its illegal because of 3 things: 1)its dangerous, 2) its a public safety hazard, and 3) people dont want their tax money going to over-dosers in the hospital. to counter these, 1)its dangerous to stab yourself, but its not illegal... 2) if you make it illegal to be high in public, you fix the hazard, and 3) our tax money already goes to over-dosers... you just dont know it.

it depends what area of the country you're talking about, here in AZ the average salary for a regular beat cop is around 40 to 45k a year and maybe top out to 60k as a regular officer, In BP you can easily make 70 to 80k in three years.
