  • Great vid, just wanted to correct you though. The captain is Craig Theriault, I would know, he's my cousin.

  • Hey eboshi1222! Thanks for the correction. I fixed it in the description. Thanks for watching!

  • My boyfreind is going whale watching in Halifax on Thursday. He's currtenly on Carnival Triumph heading to Nova scotia :P

  • P.S.

I just looked it up on Wikipedia and apparently the largest Blue Fin Tuna was actually caught off the coast of Nova Scotia. It weighed 1,496 lbs so the one I saw could very well have been bigger than my boat.

  • Cool video. I live in Nova Scotia, but on the other side of the province right outside Halifax.

I go sailing quite often in the St. Margarets Bay and ive seen many types of whales as well as porpoises and others creatures.

The coolest animal i've seen was a huge blue fin tuna. I was in a small 2 person sailboat and there were tuna jumping maybe 30 feet from the boat. I don't know if you've ever seen one, but they are huge animals. It felt like they were about as big as the boat I was in :P

  • Nice Video, I'm actually from NS..hope you had a lovely Scotian stay :)

  • that was amazing!

  • I'm gonna eat it! ^_^

  • Is that a Killer Wahle? because it has black/white tail

  • I don't think it is a Killer Whale. This whale is in the Bay of Fundy. I think it's a Finback Whale.

  • it's a humpback
