the randomest thing happened upon my level 80 human warlock. I was traveling in icecrown and all a sudden this played! I knew what the song was and that sylvannas sang it. But why did it play there?!? Im a big sylvanas fan <3

Icecrown is strange :P I earned the "Damage Control" archievement while doing a random quest. I reported it to a GM and they just said "Thanx for your concerns" :P

blizzard should make this quest repeatable, with no exp reward, but being able to hear the song each time u bring her the necklace, i did the quest but i still get necklaces from fallen rangers in ghostlands :S

You get it by looting an item in the Ghostlands called "The Lady's Necklace." I believe you have to be level 15 or 16 to start the quest.

I love Sylvanna's new model but the animation for this song is bad. The female NE animation with both hands raised by the shoulders was more fitting.

I was kinda hoping they'd have added a few custom animations for her in addition to the new model. Ah well. Maybe someday.

*sigh* Ok, Dustin? Varimathras didnt take Sylvanas under his wing. He told her she could have revenge on the Frostmourne wielding Arthas. In return, she decided to not shoot his ankles off. I'm at that point in Frozen Throne as we speak. He offers a deal, she agrees. She never trusted him. Keep your friends close, your enemies closer. And she was a high elf. Ranger General of Quel'Thalas. Yes, Dustin. Paying attention to the lore is good stuff :P

Dustin it was not the ashbringer it was called frostmourne thats what turns people into death knights and ashbringer reverses it

I would say Sylvanas was rather dumb to keep VArimathras as a secondary leader cuz he is a dreadlord and he was never charmed

Anyone who has actually paid attention to the lore could tell you that Varimathras is the one who sort of Took Sylvanas under his wing after her resurrection and basically brought her back to Sanity; therefore it's only natural that she trust him. Nobody ever said he was charmed, merely that Sylvanas trusts him deeply for understandable reasons. nobody expects someone you trust to turn on you like he does.

You can pick up "The Lady's Necklace" while killing the Fallen Rangers at Windrunner Spire. It starts a quest that leads you to taking the necklace to her in Undercity.

I rather like this quest. ^^

Actually, in life she was a Blood-Elf, therefore is still technically classed as one. She was resurrected as a Banshee after Arthas murdered her by running her through with Ashbringer. When the Scourge attacked, she was leader of the Silvermoon Rangers.
