As far as I'm aware, Nerina Pallot's father was French and mother was Indian; she was born in England and raised in Jersey. This song is truly brilliant chart material, catchy & well written, I still hear it played years after release which proves its' worth. The new single Real Late Starter, is of at least the same calibre. The dead beat music industry needs talent like Nerina Pallot by the lorry load to rescue it; the big radio DJ's should take heed and give more air time to these artists.

I can thoroughly recommend it. I was also a bit disappointed with the Buckminster Fuller EP, but the Junebug EP has rarely left my car stereo since I got it. It's got a real upbeat 'summery' vibe about it, on the whole. My only quibble is the inclusion of 'God of Small Things', which you may have heard on her Myspace player. It's a stunning song and her vocal is amazing, but it always reminds me of Christmas for some reason and feels a bit out of place amongst the other songs on the EP.
