He was 37 years old when the incident happened and his prime years just went far away. He fought the best enforcers ever in the 80´s and in the 90´s, with epic fights. Iron Man Marty, Could take a whoopin' like no other fighter. Even today's Fighters couldn't take the blows like McSorely could. I had the priviledge to meet, get a photo with and talk about an hour of hockey and what not with Mr. McSorely. The guy is not only a monster of a man but a gentleman also.
Stuey was a young tough guy...and Marty was established. The Reaper actually held his balance pretty well here...which was not always the case when he was in Chicago (I saw most of his fights). Love both these guys...classic heavyweights.
