The Albanian folk accepted Islam and slowly started to migrate further to Kosovo from the Albanians hill bordering the state. That lasted for 200 year and more and Serbs lost their majority in modern day Kosovo territory. When Turks left the Balkans Serbia came back for what truly belonged to the Serbian people.
@dmissy1992 Now, after the WW2 Tito had great relations with communist Albania so he allowed the Albanian citizens to migrate to Kosovo (at that time Yugoslavia) which was heaven compared to Albanian. Those Albanians now Kosovars never felt Yugoslavian for the fact that they weren't Slavs so as soon as Tito died in 81 they started protesting for a Kosovo state, because they thought that their national question wasn't solved after the WW2 (see Great Albania).

Just look at the current situation in the world. EU is heading downwards and Nato won't be forever in Kosovo. As soon as they leave,Kosovo is doomed.Who is going to protect it from the legal reintegration in Serbia? Albanians may think that they have the upper hand right now but one thing is certain.Serbia is attacking sooner or later. Albanians have had recent problems in Macedonia also. My guess is that it will start there, then in South Serbia and finally in Kosovo. Shit is about to get real.
@CBFHVP First Kosvovo/Albania have managed to fight many wars without the help of international organisations. However even once Nato leaves Kosovo they will not cease to exist and Serbia has a tag on its foot as a result of their history so one wrong move and I doubt there will be any hesitancy to intervene. Also Serbia is a member of the EU and Albania will also be soon so unless Serbia want to face sanctions from the EU and UN Security council they will keep their head down.

According to you Serbia won't become a member of the EU, based on facts they applied in 2009 was accepted as an official candidate in 2011 and is estimated to by a fully fledged member in 2014. So whether you like it or not it appears their going down that road and making a lot of sacrifices to do so showing how prone they are to bow down to international recommendations. These international influences are all supporters of Kosovo considering they learnt their lessons after the Rwanda genocide

Hitler failed of getting Serbs in the 3rd Reich, EU lead by Germany is also going to fail. 300 years of Turk occupation and torture taught us many thing. More than any other country in the Europe I believe. And the 90's wars are just a huge mess Tito (a Croat) made by throwing 500 long problems under a carpet.

@dmissy1992 The Kosovo problem is thousand years old.It's probably not ever going to be solved.If you look at it's history,you can't really find a peaceful period except Yugoslavia.First of all, you have to understand that Serbia without Kosovo is like Greece without Athens or Italy without Rome.That's why it's so serious for Serbia.It's not just fields and mountains for us, it's one nations cultural heritage.The many Serbian monasteries in Kosovo (which is a Serbian name) speak for themselves.

The Albanian folk accepted Islam and slowly started to migrate further to Kosovo from the Albanians hill bordering the state. That lasted for 200 year and more and Serbs lost their majority in modern day Kosovo territory. When Turks left the Balkans Serbia came back for what truly belonged to the Serbian people.

@dmissy1992 Now, after the WW2 Tito had great relations with communist Albania so he allowed the Albanian citizens to migrate to Kosovo (at that time Yugoslavia) which was heaven compared to Albanian. Those Albanians now Kosovars never felt Yugoslavian for the fact that they weren't Slavs so as soon as Tito died in 81 they started protesting for a Kosovo state, because they thought that their national question wasn't solved after the WW2 (see Great Albania).

Have you ever seen a 70,000km2 country being populated by almost 7,3 million people? Or the fact that 4 million (Albanians) have two counties? I don't think so? And after all, name me one Muslim country that borders a non-Muslim one and wasn't in war or conflict after the WW2.

Now as soon as they leave, maybe not in 5 to 10 years but in 20 years, Kosovo is coming back home as it was took - with bombs and weapons. Settle with that.

Just look at the current situation in the world. EU is heading downwards and Nato won't be forever in Kosovo. As soon as they leave,Kosovo is doomed.Who is going to protect it from the legal reintegration in Serbia? Albanians may think that they have the upper hand right now but one thing is certain.Serbia is attacking sooner or later. Albanians have had recent problems in Macedonia also. My guess is that it will start there, then in South Serbia and finally in Kosovo. Shit is about to get real.

@CBFHVP First Kosvovo/Albania have managed to fight many wars without the help of international organisations. However even once Nato leaves Kosovo they will not cease to exist and Serbia has a tag on its foot as a result of their history so one wrong move and I doubt there will be any hesitancy to intervene. Also Serbia is a member of the EU and Albania will also be soon so unless Serbia want to face sanctions from the EU and UN Security council they will keep their head down.
