This is a special time that they actually ask this, as the some of the soldiers was feeling really bad because of their friends death. Otherwice the officers wouldn't really ask that kind of question.

@Szaryk1 yes. This is the correct way to prevent "problems" on specific patrols. Like the screening for ailment and psychological issues before deployment/conscription , there is no better way than this in order to limit the numbers of future breakdowns.

@TheKirger I'm not sure, but our "Froemandskorps"/Frogmancorps (a Navy SEALS equilvalent) uses the toughest training from the toughest Special Corps in the world. "That's a fact".

A hybrid of Navy Seals, British Special Boat Sqadron, Norwegian "Froskemanskorps" was the idea and the present training I read somewhere is harder than any of these as well as British SAS, - 22nd ofcourse.

Danish Frogmanscorps kicks ass. They've beaten major Secial Forces in exercises.

@browniecup100 Harder to hide IEDs in open fields. And the Taleban has changed to using mainly IEDs against the Danes as they suffer when they try fighting. Which is but logical, they do not have the equipment or training to go toe-to-toe with a well-equipped and well-trained western force. So they use terror; the greatest weapon in the arsenal of a guerrilla, terror of mines, snipers, ambushes, etc. But mostly mines/IEDs as they cannot be shot back at and killed. Read Giap and Mao's theories.
