  • @citikid34 They played like girls in '06 when they were a win away from the World Series?

  • Umps aren't supposed to get in a manager's face. Very unprofessional job by this ump. He should be suspended.

  • @MrProwlersfan the only thing that should get suspended is you from ever watching baseball period shut the fuck up about unprofessional, id like to see you do there job not being with there family living in a hotel traveling all the time for a couple months straight and have to deal with this shit about every day...

  • @bigchrisram He is right. Umpires AREN'T supposed to do that. And itf it is SOOOO hard how come you never seen an NBA NHL and NFL official doing it?

  • @hdust did you realize what you just said "NBA, NHL, NFL" all differnt sports and in this sport the umpire is making a call on judgement the whole game. they dont have challenges and shit like that so they get bitchy coaches that will come up and go by what they saw and they wont go to the slow-mo to change the call, nba they dont do that nhl they dont do that nfl they dont do that.

  • 1:56 - 1:58, why's he acting like someone's holding him back? LOL

  • that ump was a dick he is supposed to walk away and not provoke the players or manager..i would have fined his ass.!!!!!

  • i knew someone was going to make a comment about the umpires. Players and coaches need to grow up and just let the umpires call the game. I suppose it is quite permissible to act like a baby when you don't get your way. Each team gets 27 outs to do something towards winning the game. Some of these coaches need therapy. And nothing like a good ol ejection and a fine to straighten some of them out.

  • totally unprofessional ump, complete jackass

  • bobby v was a great manager, the mets plain suck, im ashamed to be a mets fan, just tired of losing all the time. Wilpons are idiots.

  • Also, as a Angels fan, Ive always had a soft spot for the Mets. It was so nice of them to take Mo Vaughn off our hands and give us Kevin Appier. Helped us win a title. Thanks for the assist Mets!!!

  • BiiG thumbs-up 2 Bobby*^o^*lol Bobby was the greatest manager "with" Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan*^o^* Ohh, Hai, bring him back!!*^o^*

  • lol mo vaughn hanging around throughout the argument. man 2002 was a fun team despite the horrible record

  • Bobby was a great Mets manager. Those 4 titles he won for New York......oh wait, that was Torre. Bobby who?

  • @Ranteal - oh great, just another cant shut their mouth, always has to be a asshole yankee fan. whats new?

  • @BloodRedSummer33 How dare you. Calling me a Yankees fan....watch your mouth. Still, facts is facts bro.

  • @Ranteal well what kinda fan are you? cause im happy youre not a yankee fan. Makes the situation a bit better. and yeah facts are facts but he did get us a national league title in 2000. Ha

  • @BloodRedSummer33 I feel for you as a Mets fan. You guys just hired Terry Collins for Manager?!?! Dude was a joke when he was with the Angels back in the day. We won the WS once we finally got him out the door.

  • Please come back, Bobby.  ;_;

  • wow, this is old school. i miss mike and bobby v.

  • lol..I would NOT want to piss of Mike Piazza

  • @CtrlRm I'll never forget the time he got thrown at by Mota and Mike almost killed him lol.

Then the year after Mike left the Mets got Mota. Would've loved to see those two on the same team :D

  • Rule 9.02(a) Comment: Players leaving their position in the field or on base, or managers or coaches leaving the bench or coaches box, to argue on BALLS AND STRIKES will not be permitted. They should be warned if they start for the plate to protest the call. If they continue, they will be ejected from the game.

  • You actually fell into a trap here. I was expecting this. As I stated, you can cut and paste all you want from the website, I noticed because it's actually spelled right . The point is an objection is official and to the league. this would be rules. No objection to the league is what the rule states. Comments in rules are not rules but guidelines. Go to training and you will see.

  • you cannot argue judgment calls safe, out ball strike hbp are judgment and final calls.

Now do people arguing these? of course you have to give lean way, plus i already been told i had a good strike zone busted. I won't consider you professional umpire maybe a amuter at best. no harm in that right? no umpire would argue with another umpire

  • Wow. I have to leave you with that one. That is flat out incoherent. I can't even continue the conversation. "Now do people arguing these?" and "Good strike zone busted"? Wow. Can't go on here. Your obviously so smart here, Kid. Plus, if I'm a liar, no sense in talking to you then right. I worked too hard to be trying to deal with some kid. Sorry. Have a good one Critter. I'll keep looking for your videos. Thanks.

  • @Jynx00 caus your not a real umpire. 1. you wouldn't be insulting me 2. If people did not like my strike zone than they would of never told me.

this came from the assignor that sheculdes my games enough said. Kid? how the fuck am i kid when your the one insulting me? and acted like you can agure whatever the fuck you want no matter what.

the rules state you cannot argue judgment calls. this is a judgment call this is not a appeal call its a judgment call. get that through your think skull.

  • @Jynx00 i have every dam right to cut and paste go look for someone else to bug you jackass.

  • He's a jabbering monkey. He can't talk, write, think, he's incoherent and he's the future of America. World corporations love kids like this for pawns. He's called me a liar and his feeling are hurt? This is our future America. Corporation drones.

  • Hey Jabbering, What is a spreate again?

What's your facination with your ass and sticks? LOL!!!!

  • maybe cause i have a damn disblitiy and have you ever heard me talk no. So don't sit here and judge what you don't know.

you are a liar and a fool.

  • Tryin' for sympathy? Tell us about umpiring in the old days of baseball way back in 2007!

  • @Jynx00 i umpiring longer than 2007.

  • And I've been umpiring longer than 1987. And If you ever want to have a video of your umpiring reviewed for plate mechanics, and for also for positional mechanics, let me know. Leagues pay me for it but I'll do it for umps I know. Email me and we can see. Later Crit.

  • so you just went after me for the hell of it? what wold make me want to e-mail you??? j/k i might look into it.

  • Come on kid, bestow some more wisdom from your extensive knowledge on us all. Tell us!

  • when you can get you own knowledge of the game come tell me.

  • Hey Dumbass, a comment is not a rule! How many times do you have to be told, Dope! 23 year old kid. I've been umpiring longer than you've b een on the planet! Priceless! LOL!

  • @Jynx00 where did i ever say a comment was a rule? really nice to know than if that the case you would of know about the damn fucking rule.

go get a rule book moron

  • Crit, You cut and pasted it. But I'm gonna stop picking on you now. I only hope you can get past your disability, whatever it is and just think beforehand. It turns out we actually both like the Sox and that's cool. I had to laugh, I read the comments from the NY fan and it was pretty damn funny. I actually thought about you the other day when I cashed a league check, for prospect reports they needed. I had to smile.

I think Wilde said it best "I am not young enough to know everything"

    Peace

  • @Jynx00 its easier than listen to you tell me to do it over and over again. im not worried about by disablitiy that does not stop me from my thoughts and i know the answer fully. You have a right to laugh its all good. we don't know everything we are all learning still

  • a) Any umpires decision which involves judgment, such as, but not limited to, whether a batted ball is fair or foul, whether a pitch is a strike or a ball, or whether a runner is safe or out, is final. No player, manager, coach or substitute shall object to any such judgment decisions.

"to offer a reason or argument in opposition. "

  • Yawn, cut and paste Monkey. No brains, go put up some dumb videos on Madworld, they are SO interesting. LOL

  • yes i did cut in paste but at least i already knew the rules. Plus if i type it all up you wouldn't understand a single saying. As for the madworld video was for a website that is now closed down cause friend couldn't pay for it anymore.

  • The second ump should have never stepped in. He only made things worse. He almost touched Valentine.

  • Good point Yankee.

  • wrong that is protecting is parnter and making sure he does not get any more trouble. that is what umpire are train to do.

come in and listen close and than get in between them and spreate them.

  • No it's not. Again Critter is wrong. What is spreate?

  • Hey Critter WHAT IS A SPREATE?

  • Piazza never argued unless he was right. When the umpires pursue someone who is arguing with them that usually means that the person arguing with the umpire was right. Piazza is a class act even though he played in NY.

  • my ass you need to get your stick out of your ass when they agure there are not right. there being stupid and hurting the team.

don't sit and talk to me he was arguing over something he can't and should of been gone right away.

  • Enjoy your beers, hope it all works out for ya'.

  • shows how much you know, first off i don't drink beer or whine. second off you don't argue strikes he is wrong.

  • I played pro ball dude, I'm also a professional umpire now. You do argue balls and strikes. There have been studies that on an subconscious level you will influence the umpire even if they are trying not to be influenced. A la subconscious. Also you have the influence on your own team. As a coach, if you get fired up and go off for your team, it does help your team for a long while and can get everyone fired up on the team. I've been there and seen it happen. That shows how much I know. Thanks.

  • ok first off a professional umpire would know that arguing ball and strikes safe and out are against the rules.

yea you right it show how little you know about rules of baseball thanks for proving my point.

  • It's not against the rules to argue, the rules states that you cannot object and therefore appeal to the league. If it was then as soon as anyone argues, they would be ejected, immediately. That is obviously not the case. The rules you are trying to quote talks about objecting as in recourse. A player/coach has no official recourse. An umpire will not eject a player for arguing, they will usually eject someone for unsportsmanlike conduct. I am a professional umpire Dope.

  • no appeals are a totally different rule, it has to effect the game for an appeal, no not true at all. You can agure or ask the umpire a question saying what you saw and see from his or her point of view. that is fine. Actually yes umpire will eject players for arguing example this video enough said. your are not a professional umpire dude. you never be one.

  • You are mincing words and are drunk again. You need to get back to the original point which you ran from. Piazza usually never argued unless he was right.

  • Oh and what is the fixation with your ass and sticks? That is a riot!

I am a professional umpire you dumbass. I have my certifications in various leagues.

  • Thats the Roid Rage from Piazza

  • Never saw Piazza that pissed off. I wonder what happened?

  • why don't you read the information??? you know its right next to the video.

  • Critter is mad cause his cut and paste got exposed!
