if you get skipped stitches use silicone to spray thread spool AND bobbin, it works with basting spray which is a life saver!!!

Good point. I would always wash a quilt anyway before giving it away but it is particularly important to wash it if you have spray basted it.

Thank you for the greatt technique...just wondering , can we spray baste a baby quilt? Will the newborn inhale the smell? Just finished a baby quilt for my granddaughter and she will have her baby soon and want to give it to her as a baby gift :) and I want to try to spray bast this time.
