i subconsciensly gave u thumbs up back when u did that haha. Rock on dude. love this song. Nice job. P.s Idk think i spelled subconsciensly right but idk
I wish I could play like that. That was just out of this world. The bass in the important part of any band. By the way, how old are you? I'm 48 and remember that song quite well, actually. Outstanding bass playing!
Can a fender rumble 60 be heard over a drum set while playing? because i'm not sure if i should get this amp or save up more and get the 100? please reply
This might be too late, but get the 100 watt. The 60 won't do it if you play with a crazy loud drummer. I have a 100 watt and its okay. I recommend it if you have good bass. I run a Fender Highway 1 P bass through it and it sounds good.
But no, it can't. I had one. This is obviously based on how loud your drummer is, but typically no. I would highly recommend (as someone who has done both) purchasing a decent quality 210 or even 410 cab and a strong head to go along with it. It doesn't have to be too fancy, just solidly built with plenty of power.
@TStouffer It will work better if You set the equalizer with high turned up and bass turned low. It doesn't sound as good but it gets louder without distortion.
fret buzz is either a cheap bass or poor technique. The only difference between a P bass or a J bass is the tone and sustain. For a song like this though I would recommend a P bass
i think this video has the best audio quality yet. i don't know what you did differently, but it's good. and the video itself is awesome too. good job! can't wait to jam over christmas. :-D
this is great! i've been trying to learn this for ever! well, i've only been playing for a few months, but this vid is helping cuz i can actually see what to do! and you did a great job, this is like my favorite song!
3:10 - 3:25 & 4:38 - 4:50 = sweetness :)

RAWRSOME!!! i think you should just do the whole bass tab without the track behind it, and try not to pause, this is awesome!

haha that's not a bass effect at 0:58 , he's just playing the same part as the piano. And you're think that the piano is a bass effect

TStouffer 2 years ago
Yeah, it can. Though, I'd spend a little more money on a louder amp, because if you play with blasting guitarists, it's impossible to hear yourself.

does it matter whether u hav a P-Bass or a JAZZ? i think mine has horrible quallity from fret buzz. but its my first one so itll suffice.
christopher0310 2 years ago
If your Fender's frets buzz, you can always adjust the action of the bass. Just go to a guitar store.
