The most noticeable difference is in the Phone Cord execution. Daniel DRAGS THE GUY IN A CIRCLE before snapping his neck in the ORIGINAL VERSION. That part was COMPLETELY CUT OUT of the PC version which REALLY takes away from the visceral brutality of it...LAME!
When you really think about it, even though some PC executions are shortened, It's still more brutal. I mean the blood, graphics, and sounds are are better, so it looks and sounds more real, also theres more weapons, and in he PC and Wii versons, blood, bullet wounds, and stab wounds appear on people, and they are interactive, so its more violent. Aso the beta has too many glitches :/
could someone tell me weather there is only 1 execution in the cut version compared to the white-yellow-red thingy in many of the videos? i just completed the game on PC and i only had 1 option for executions with each weapon the entire way thru, kinda boring :/ what am i doing wrong?
i know that the level 3 plastic bag kill on the PS2 looked goofy and took too long when you tripped the guy and went down to punch and elbow him. it just looks better on pc when you just trip him and thats it.
Nothing's cut. Some executions are shorter cause you use motion controls to do the executions. Oh noes, he doesn't lightly kick the guy at the end! @_o
@JoeyDrunko MANHUNT 2 BETA compared to the PC is much different, first off the gun executions in the PC are all toned waay down, other versions where you would put the handgun into the victims mouth, stand him up and shoot have been replaced with liniar none well thought out executions, and in many ways the executions have been toned down, this is because the editors in canada still thought that the game was too violent and shortened the length as to not push the bar too far
@youngaffiliate52 The gun executions aren't "toned down" The PC version was developed from the Wii version. There were differences between the Wii and ps2 versions from the start. The ps2 gun executions probably didn't translate well to motion controls.
Your argument fails. If they cut down the gun executions to "not push the bar too far", this game wouldn't have gotten an AO rating. The testicle rip execution is still in the game, so you're full of shit.

Most of the longer animations took it too far, so it ended up being funny. When the animation is shortened down, it gives the impression that the playar character knows exactly what he's doing, and that's more disturbing. And it helps a whole deal that the camera is closer on the PC version.
Its also missing the kick to the dead body. the phone execution doesn't show Danny dragging the victim around the room by the cord. The gun executions are a lot better on the BETA and there's a load of other executions toned down as listed in the description. BETA still rocks but PC version is next best and more polished.
You should see the PC version of the fire arm exeuctions, There all the same. The Beta had more style with the fire arm executions. The PC version may look better, But its kinda almost knocking off the Wii version. Makes me think if they just took the Wii version and just cloned it as a PC game with just a few changes.

Damn, I don't get why some of these things were changed for the PC version. The nighstick and plastic bag red executions were cut down as well.
I'm glad they added the straight razor and the glass bottle, but they took out the flashlight too.

Its funny, we already got to see the uncut uncensored PC version with just about every single weapon in the game.
And its sure violent enough with just the weapons alone, so why bother cutting down the Gun Executions when the title is already AO rated?
