  • Jump the boot sequence: 2:33

  • omfg lame just cut to the point already

  • I put Easy Peasy 1.1 on an SDHC card. It loads slow, but once it's on, it's great. EVerything runs "right out of the box" except for my web cam. Not sure what's wrong there. Eee PC 8G. I'm going to get a Class 6,

4G SDHC card. Class 6 should load a lot faster. Easy Peasy 1.5 should be out soon, and they are working on Easy Peasy 2.0 It's a great Linux sytem for these little netbook computers.

  • i just downloaded it and it is workingXD

  • anyone! is it posible to get easy peasy on acer aspire one?

  • Comment removed

  • I think its possible on any computer just its customised for netbooks? Not sure.

  • can anyone tell me whats the difference betwen easy peasy and linux4one? is it the same OS but optimised for different netbooks? they both seem the same to me

  • you didn't show any applications.

  • Power of the Ubuntu distro. and no endless fiddeling to get the hardware to work. Love this distro.

  • Yup, it's awesome!

  • oh god, the boot time is horrifying.

  • It's booting off a USB stick so it's to be expected!

  • MY BT3 can boot 20 times faster on a usb, so can my ubuntu 8.10 with a bunch of shit installed.

  • How can you say Ubuntu is a piece of shit compared to a modded xandros? There's a reason it boots in 20 seconds mate ;)

  • That maybe.. But 90 seconds are to long!

  • Yeah, but it doesn't take 90 seconds though ;)

  • wich one is better, eeebuntu or this? and also... does the wlan, fn-keys and camera really work with easy peasy? if they do i'll install it :D

  • sorry for my english. eeebuntu is better for the eee. I have been testing both of them on basic configurations and with 1gb ram too. I recommend tunning some stuff in order to gain speed, because both OS are heavily software and service loaded.

  • Ubuntu Eee is my choice for the simple fact that I couldn't even install eeebuntu. If you do go for Ubuntu Eee, beware that I had problems with the latest version (rebranded as easy peasy) - it's nice but Compiz fusion was really glitchy and web browsing was dead slow. Ubuntu Eee is perfect in my opinion!

  • Great video, great system for my 2GB Surf EEEPC.

  • What about webcam?

  • Works, actualy everything works "out of the box" for asus eee. Easy peasy is perfect for eeepc. Xandros 3/10 compared to Easy Peasy... Windows also 3/10 in terms of speed.

  • I think editing for time would have been appropriate for the boot up....

  • Cool video
