@xFRAGMENTS On more than a few occasions the skin split on my palm and bled. In one game me, and another guy both had bleeding splits on our palms. Basically his blood, or something else adhering to the ball must've gotten into my system because a few months later I got warts on my hand. I never had them before, and it was right around the area where the skin on my palm split. From then on I've always used a glove on (at least) my dominant hand.

If he had served to his left every time, and won 21 straight points it would have only proven that his opponent needed to seriously work on his left. If you're going into a tournament like this complaining "Waaaa! He only served to my left!" then you don't belong there. You'd be stupid not to exploit an obvious weakness in your opponent. Of course, casual play is different story.

@xFRAGMENTS Win or lose, in a tournament you'd be a fool not to attack your opponents off-hand. Of course you can't hit EVERY serve to the opponents off-hand or they'll simply cheat into a position to use their dominant hand, or at least get a better return.

First of all it was OBVIOUS that what he did was on purpose, second of all any time u guess which way someone is going to hit the ball and u lean in that direction and hinder their shot you are out. That is not a cross but crossing the ball is not the only thing that is avoidable. MOST of you do NOT know the rules.

rookie should be out for that. rookie moved to the left instead of the right to ensure that he wasn't boxed out, and thats where the cross was. But thats what happens when the block calls become too loose like they have been in these recent tournaments. if an opponent moves on your shot in front of you, you call that block.

you don't have to call a cross, crossing the ball isn't like a block were you have to call it. Crossing the ball is just like hitting yourself with the ball an automatic down. The ref has to make that call and he clearly didn't have the right view or doesn't know the rules.

This is what i think, if the ball is gonna hit you if you dont move and you move out the way its a block, but if the ball is clearly is going to pass one side of your body without you moving and you CROSSOVER to the other side BEFORE it passes then thats a cross and a down.cause the way the ball was coming was more towards his left it still was gonna hit him so he took the long way which seems like a cross but isnt, peewee shoulda called blocks :]

If rookie moved to the right, there would have been no cross but he would've been boxed out for peewee to make a shot to the left corner. Thats why rookie went to the left instead of the right, into the path of the ball during peewee's shot. At 8:56, rookie crosses that path.

Instead, rookie wanted to get to the left of the ball so that he wouldn't be boxed out when peewee went for his shot, assuming that peewee would hit the left corner. When rookie swayed to his left, he crossed the path of the ball as it was coming to peewee, and as we all know a crossing through the path of the ball into a players shot is a down.

Rookie crossed the ball to take Peewee's shot away. The problem is you have spectators reffing the lines that don't know the rules. Rook was getting scared in the end. Too bad Peewee lost that way, I've seen him lose a Skybounce tourney with the same bad calling.
