Boxing has been losing a lot of credit in recent times due to rulings like these ones. Here are some examples: Castillo lost first fight to Mayweather ( Castillo should have won), they got the Morales vs Barrera fights wrong (Barrera won the first one, but lost the second one) they scored it the other way around, De La Hoya beat trinidad and Mosley first time around, etc. This is why I stopped watching.

Marquez is the fighter to have given Manny Fits, he impresses me w/ his ability to bounce back from Knockdowns, he would've won the first fight had it not been for the 3 Knockdowns 7 rounds to 5, but 3 point deduction 113-112 pac.
2nd he was aggresive and did throw a lot of punches, but a lot were either blocked or landed on Manny's forearm. 115-112 Pacman 1 pt deduction for knockdown, even if you spit the rounds 114-113.
The only thing I don't like about Pacman and Roach was their reaction after the loss to Morales in their first fight. They had a list of excuses like the gloves were wrong size,eye was damaged, and now a new excuse that he was weakened by a blood extraction from a routine physical exam.They never gave Morales his proper due for his victory. Both fights between Pacquiao and Marquez were both very close fights. As a viewer i loved watching both fighters at their best. The match's was so close and could have gone either way. However, the cold hard fact is that the winner was Pacquiao. It's fine to think otherwise, but regardless of opinion Pacquiao is the victor.
The same thing happened with Mayweather vs Castillo. Despite the score difference Mayweather was the outcome winner.

Juan Manuel Marquez is truly a better fighter than Pac.
And he won both fights hands down.
Boxing has been losing a lot of credit in recent times due to rulings like these ones. Here are some examples: Castillo lost first fight to Mayweather ( Castillo should have won), they got the Morales vs Barrera fights wrong (Barrera won the first one, but lost the second one) they scored it the other way around, De La Hoya beat trinidad and Mosley first time around, etc. This is why I stopped watching.

Look what happened with Miguel Cotto vs. Joshua Clottey, a close split decision win for Cotto based on the knockdown in Round 1 in a fight that could've gone either way.
Also in MMA, Shogun Rua vs. Lyoto Machida in the first fight. What did Shogun do after the first fight? Came back and stopped Machida.
You simply can't leave the fight in the judges's hands. You don't know what they're going to do.

Marquez is the fighter to have given Manny Fits, he impresses me w/ his ability to bounce back from Knockdowns, he would've won the first fight had it not been for the 3 Knockdowns 7 rounds to 5, but 3 point deduction 113-112 pac.
2nd he was aggresive and did throw a lot of punches, but a lot were either blocked or landed on Manny's forearm. 115-112 Pacman 1 pt deduction for knockdown, even if you spit the rounds 114-113.

They had a list of excuses like the gloves were wrong size,eye was damaged, and now a new excuse that he was weakened by a blood extraction from a routine physical exam.They never gave Morales his proper due for his victory. That knockdown Pacquiao scored in the third round just gave him a little more extra to get the decision going his way.
That's why JMM paid the price for leaving the fight in the hands of the judges: he thought he won and so does most people, but they don't know what the judges are going to do.

Barrera won by TKO at round 7 over JMM. Referee didnt notice the power right hook of Barrera that sent JMM to canvass. Referre called it a slip thus JMM recover and save by the bell. I want to see rematch for Barrera and Marquez. I think Barrera is better fighter than Marquez.

don't ask me, i'm not his promoter, go ask Arum. And besides, why would a 3rd fight with JMM happen so soon? how can pac prove himself if he only fights JMM? Of course they'll have to make room for other fighers. JMM is not the only elite fighter in the business. Funny, though, ive never heard freddie saying those things.

simply knowing isn't good enough, people need evidence of his greatness. If you think JMM is better, i'm not gonna argue with that. I also like both fighters and i think both fights were draw. yeah-yeah pac got beaten down by morales and he fought a bumb de la hoya, so what? but what about JMM? you think he never lost? you think he never fought fighters older than him? Loosing is part of the game. At least pacquioa took retribution by beating down morales twice in TKO.

juan dias had 3 of the 4 titles when he called out pac!! and pac and his hanlders were scared to fight him cuz he was undefeated at the time!! yea he did get knocked out by marquez but that was after manny pac ducked him!! humberto soto was also a champion at the time and he ko pacs brother and called manny out!! how do you duck a fighter who just kicked your brothers ass and calls you out??

Both fights between Pacquiao and Marquez were both very close fights. As a viewer i loved watching both fighters at their best. The match's was so close and could have gone either way. However, the cold hard fact is that the winner was Pacquiao. It's fine to think otherwise, but regardless of opinion Pacquiao is the victor.
The same thing happened with Mayweather vs Castillo. Despite the score difference Mayweather was the outcome winner.
