  • hmm good :) very good congratulations :)

  • the logo on the visor should never move. First, does not happen in real life (i'm not an f1 driver but used an helmet before), second, it would be almost impossible to focus.

  • man this is amazing but if you can make moving the logo this will be perfect

  • Hi Ak , i don't fully understand what you mean....the visor stripe ?

  • yes, the renault logo

  • Yes i understand what you mean , you will get some helmet movement from the eye to the helmet in real life but that would be hard to implement , but when your lapping in rfactor you look more ahead and don't really notice the logo as your focus is the track or the car ahead, might look better in youtube but not ingame .

  • OH!! at 7:03 hamilton cutting you up!! haha very good vid!! the sounds the clutch made when ya downshifted didnt sound good, sounded like a massive bang in the gearbox. Ya had a few big shunts aswell which would have put ya in the pits or out of action. I think though that that is the closest a non-racing driver will get to a F1 car or the drivers perception of an F1 car. Have ya got a Singapore night race vid or in the process of doing one cos that would be pretty amazing! Great vid!!

  • I guess it's a player file edit...

Look Roll Angle="0.75000" // Angle to lean head (roll) w/ controller in radians (= degrees / 57)

Steering wheel dependent as well , i turn my wheel very little , if your on a G25 for example i guess you need a higher value.

  • Have you got the addon woking?

  • Customise/Settings/Controls/Rates...

    100% look ahead

    100% Head Movement

    -100% Yaw

but there probably partialy overwritten by higher/lower values in the plr file (available from rfcentral).

np for the question amigo, good luck.

  • Download my addon and extract it to desktop/wherever then look inside the plugins folder and copy out 1 of the 4 profiles and your done.............

  • , however when i've tried to do that it is most often corrupted but not always ,this is the main reason i supplied a clean/patched install of rfactor with this addon included, and yes it is basically a tvstyle addon but very buggy if you add it to an existing install but no harm trying at all and if it works then all you would have to do to add extra visors is download the "Speed" file for whatever visor you wanted then overwrite the default "Speed" supplied.

  • Sounds like a normal install XD,my download is 180mb appx and works like a pimped clean install and if you know how to edit the config.ini then you can run multiple rfactor installs with only 1 "Locations" directory .

  • My addon works as a complete new install with 1 mod and 1 track to choose from , what i'm saying is you keep your normal install then download what i've prepared and install it on your pc , check out my "Example Install Tutorial" it's viewable under "More from Bruce1000" to have a better understanding , it will not interfere with any current install you have thats why its called "testfactor" just add extra mods+circuits as you wish.

  • Yeah i imagine that would be pretty cool , not sure if having cockpit movement+vibration+trackIR might be overkill (too hard) or wether it would be spot on ...

either way i'll set you up with the visor n stuff as the visor isn't downloadale yet ..

have you tried my addon btw?(it can be buggy as it's resolution vs monitor dependent)?

  • also i'm wondering which visor to do next so if you have a favoured team+driver let me know and i might do that 1 next ?
