They are all virtuoso's playing perfectly together. I don't know of any better rock band in the world that has keyboards that dominant. (Lord or his replacement) Can't think of a better guitar player than steve either. I think they are the best . Unless you like tasteless distortion and the new sound of Bulls---t keyboards.

The Machine Head Album version of the Intro to this song,( Lazy ) was definitely

BY FAR the best. Unfortunately, they have NEVER left well enough alone. There is a saying in the world of Music. Perfection is difficult & fleeting. If ya fuck with somthing long enough, yer bound to fuck it up completely. This is a fine example of NOT leaving well enough alone. In my opinion anyway. I'm sure there are many out there whom will disagree. Afterall, we all know what an opinion is like. Right?...LOL...

@ancientastronomer I agree that the early versions, especially made in japan, were very good. But these guys have aged well, and this is a fine jam. There is really no injustice done here, just a different intro by the guy that made it famous, Jon Lord. This is an excellent re-do... I think he is allowed to do that if he wants... he wrote it.

IMO, as I previously stated, I just believe that the "Machine-Head" version was the Cream of the Crop. Of course, Jon Lord cries all the way to the Bank regarding my Opinion...LOL...Agreed? This is a really cool updated version of the original, really nicely done, these guys can play their asses off, unbelievable! And the original 'Made in Japan' LP I got as a teenager, and it blew my head off! That's when I picked up the electric guitar, inspiring stuff! Thanks for posting this excellent (sounding) video! Just the finest rock band in the history, I am following them since the very beginning and they are getting better and better. Lord is a true master, and I prefer Steve Morse to Blackmore, Don Airey is another outstanding talent, Ian Pace's drum play holds it all together, Roger puts the ground with his outstanding bass play. And the best, my children, teenager today, come with me to the concerts, we have grat fun. Just and very simply...the very very best of rock you can get.
