I'm really enjoying your video's thanks for sharing your learning curve. The car is coming together very nicely. and is looking awesome. if it drives as good as it looks that is going to be some car. keep up the good work and ill stay tuned.
I've been subscribed to ur chan for a while. The only suggestion I have for this is the passenger side. If u look at the toyota celica 7th g, the passenger side is curved and I think this car would look a lot better with a curved dash (so it doesn't look cheap/plain in the inside). Looking at the outside of the car, I don't see why u would have a flat dash on the inside, to me it just doesn't look like tht should be in that car. But everything looks like its fitting all together keep it up!!
@rickyreyes48 Thanks for being such a long term subscriber. :)... This is only a Base Layer, non of the details have been added yet. It still has a long ways to go and a lot more detailing left to do. I think when its finished it will be very unique and not so plain. If you are on our FaceBook fan page you will see some more details that I added yesterday. I will be posting more image there later today.
thats brave! not a lot of people have the guts to do this, subscribed to your channel, waiting for some more videos and also waiting to see this thing on the roads!
hey look instead of tilting the rpm and speed gauge covers down, why don't you cut the front part downwards a little.. in a way that it will not be parallel with the gauges themselves.. i hope i was clear in my explanation, the dash is looking really nice :)
@friedchicken1981 Yes this is exactly what I will do, but I also need to tilt it down a bit. In the next video everything should make more sense and will look very different.
@IkkFedt Yeah with this video the camera was on the outside of the car, so you could not hear all the sounds. Usually people like to hear the time-lapse sounds so that's why i never add music.
I was wondering if you do work as well. I really admire your determination and patience to build this car. I've a personal project as well but I'm having trouble to turn off the video game and internet to get things done after my day work, I'm missing some discipline there. If you do work how can you relate the both your work and your project? Thank you very much.
@RinaldiMeteoric Yes I have a full time career on top of all this as well. It's definitely a challenge to stay focused and manage the time between all my responsibilities. I am a HUGE gamer as well, and I have had to cut that way back. But doing something like this is so much rewarding than game playing so it was easy to do. You just have to have a passion for it and stick with it.
Hey buddy, great progress now, have you kept a full running total of everything yopu have spent on the car since you first began cutting out MDF and pink foam..? ill bet its a pretty penny.! keep up the good work, you'll be driving it some day and it will all be worth it...

Where the steering wheel is going to be?
PedroLarock 1 month ago
@PedroLarock It will be where they all are right in front of you. LOL
BaileyBlade 1 month ago
@BaileyBlade i didn't see any steering wheel in the concept pictures, just wondering...
PedroLarock 1 month ago
I would double check if the steering wheel will block the gauges. Looks good, thanks for posting.
blanchae 1 month ago
@blanchae Steering wheel and column are adjustable but for the most part it has a very clear view.

It look to me like the gauge housing needed to move a bit to the left but that may be just me
mmclovin79 1 month ago
@mmclovin79 The Gauge pod is directly in the middle. Its the center console that needs to be shaven back a bit.
