i am sorry i am commenting a lot. I had mine out Feb '08 Yes i dont have any pain but it causes (sorry really bad diarreah just watch your diet no butter or fats. eat wheat bread to help with that. I of course was driving less than a week and eating gumbo withing a few days. Whoo Hoo spicy food! Anyways just watch what you eat. Take care i enjoy your vids.
The bends? I mean, that pain in your shoulder. Carriepoo got bent! OUCH!
Dean is threatening turkey breast this year. He doesn't want to go out and doesn't want company. Can't blame him, lol! I hope you get the BEST TURKEY DINNER EVER this Thanksgiving!
Hida scan was what finally proved I needed that booger out! Getting rid of a sick gallbladder is the best thing! I'm happy you're gettin' rid of it. You're right, in that the biggest headache afterwards is gettin' the air out. Take care!
Did you have noticed improvement once it was removed? How about stomach/gut issues post-op? How long did it take you to recover? They say 2 weeks but I know myself and my lyme, more like 2 months to get back to 'normal'. I'm just trying to get as much info from lymies in particular who have had theirs removed. I think I may be in the 5% that may not have stones or even sludge, that my gallbladder simply is not functioning properly and is making my gut worse by adding bile into the mix.
If it's for the great good and this pain will stop, I'm all for it. I'm actually a bit excited to see if I can get my appetite back and stop popping zofran like candy. We shall see, and yes, I plan to enjoy the shit out of thanksgiving. I will be very thankful this year for a lot of things.

My mom had to get her gallbladder out. She was sick for like a week and felt amazing after the surgery. Good luck!
