Just got this on Steam (You can get the Gold edition for only £3.69) and I have to say, despite it having a few problems (Tabbing out f*cks it up each and every time and it requires a specific version of PhysX which is easy enough to install, but it means you have to re-install it every time you play a game that updates PhysX) it's a very enjoyable and immersive experience.
Also, you don't have to give a penny to Ubisoft, the greedy cunts.
some of the initial water by the island really looked good in my opinion, but when it got closer to the ships crew, it lost out on its realism. But this really shows that DX10 really might have potential, but as mentioned in the thread, we need to see a pure DX10 game build from the ground up with the new API.
I think its safe bet that AMD and nV going to emphasize medium-price-range in their next incarnation, ranging from 200-250Usd. I ve been waiting for this game to upgrade my 2002 PC, along with Steel Fury and Il-2 sequel. Thanx for posting this.
Well, the water looks pretty cool. (better than Source water, which I thought was the best) I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say the rest of the game doesn't look as hot though. (but hey, it was originally released in 05 so that's excusable)

Being hit by a torpedo doesn't do much visually, bit crap really considering your main armament is a torpedo

Which probably won't happen unless/until Vista and DX10 GPUs become mainstream.

Crysis DX10 water looks awesome.
Just because it's a DX10 game doesn't mean that the devs are going to pull the max out of it.
