@silkworm47 That depends on a lot of factors, like what wattage bulb you are using, what size space it will be in cubic feet, and what your ambient temps are.
@silkworm47 That has nothing to do with the reflector. The amount of CFM you need depends on a lot of things. Ducting size, light intensity, ambient temperatures, how many lights you have in the chain, etc...
I've been looking at several ballasts for a couple of months now (advice from forums, research, etc.); yet, I am still questioning:
1. How efficient is the reflectivity of the AN Melonhead compared to other well established brand names such as Radiant, Sunleaves, Daystar, and Yieldmaster?
2. And if the reflective efficiencies are different, are they significant enough to affect growth?
This device appears to provide a necessary and vital component to hydroponic industry. Seems like a witty invention. Divine wisdom for the agriculturist.
I want one of these and am ready to buy, but I have never bought a light system that wasn't in a package deal (meaning it came w/ ballast and bulb of your choice). SO i apologize if this is a dumb question. Does this require a ballast? Or does that cord just need to be plugged into an outlet? Thanks in advance.
