I remember that little P Class chugging back and forth the sea front in Dover as a kid. Am I right in thinking that this engine shunted wagons along the front into the mid 1960's?

As a lad who grew up on the platforms at Folkestone Junction in the 50's I can say that this is the best Pre-war movie of the station and surroundings I have seen so far. Many thanks for uploading such valuable material.

Absolute magic ! As a lad went on holidays to Folkestone in the mid to late 1950's where it was still a marvellous place to watch trains

Wonderful. As a Folkestonian I really value this old footage. Junction station was a wonderful place for a boy, even in the fifties. 5*
