  • He looks drunk

  • Nice!

  • Fabulous example! I'm trying this TONIGHT in our newly established drum circle~ thank you!

  • I thought it was fantastic!

Getting evryone into a groove and interacting without a single word being said.

  • I have to songs up that are conga one of which has vocal.

    Come listen.

  • Check this out and over 300 others "Fire Spinning and Drumming 3 17 2011 025"

  • love this stuff, haven't been to one in couple of years.

  • Anyone know what those blue drums are and where to get them?!

  • who's that guy in the middle ruining the music. what an idiot.

  • Looks like fun. But I really think they need to spend 30 seconds explaining how to tilt the djembe so its not flat on the ground, otherwise there is really no point in playing it, sounds terrible.

  • stomp dance is pro

  • I need to hire these guys to stay in my living room and have them start hammering away when the mailman comes.

  • cool

  • Looks like a great way to get a group together, especially a large circle where not all drummers are experienced. Thanks for sharing!

  • I understand how many folks dig the whole unstructured free form vibe. My experience has shown that tends to devolve into a monotonous mess all too often, unless the majority are very experienced percussionists. I like the idea of a leader of sorts to keep things moving in a good way. Admit it. It was getting kinda boring until he stomped his feet down and provided structure.

  • @rmcdaniel423 It may be less interesting to an observer, but as a participant even a basic drum circle like this one is a lot of fun.

  • good game~

  • Hey that reply comment was not nice but how do i not know english cause you said but obiously i do not like english class.I do not have english class at my at school i have ela thats english language arts class.

  • This is not really a drum circle - it's more like a conducted drumming experience, but it still looks like fun.

  • Narby.

  • cool my teacher showed my class this i meaan my music teacher in school showed us this video to my class and then we tried it the whole class my whole class tried it in the music room we have drums in the music room and different instruments to each class named the instruments but they did not change the names of the instruments they only named the ones that were not named my class named some of the instruments because they were only some left for us to name. I love music class and art class.

  • @jennybabiee830 sorry but I had to, you love music class and art class but obviously not English class

  • cool

  • what was that beginning song that was playing before they started drumming it sounded good! please let me know

  • thats stupid. hes a bad director and there should never be a director this is not a fucking orchestra you piece of fucking shit ass bitch

  • Not everyone smoked out before that jam. (they should have) Well Orchestrated.

  • I can't stand these facilitated drum circles complete with guru and some filtered out W African and Cuba chops. If you want an authentic drumming experience then take up an instrument, be taught and learn. If you want to build your community then introduce yourselves to your neighbours!

  • shit

  • @glorplaxy LMAO WORD

  • That looks like so much fun!! I wish we had something like that around where i live..

  • try a craigslist post for interests and hobbies. YOu can find lots of people with drums

  • Does anyone know what thart blue plastic looking drums are that several people in this video are playing!?

  • They look to me like fiberglass Ashiko drums

  • yep thats some slick facilitatin', gona nick it! :)

  • Cool

  • into the groove and GOOW!!! love it!

  • Would love to know where the Blue Djembes are from - anyone know?

  • Looks like they could just be special drums provided by the school for people who don't have drums.

I like the idea of this, helping people who don't know how to drum, or naturally find the rhythm by ear, learn how to pick up rhythm from the basic rumble.

  • wtf lol haha

  • cool!

  • love it can't wait to start...

  • i only love free style drum circle and, this kind have no energy u know what i mean,no leader all 2 gether and,it will click!

  • Yeah but you also have to remember that some people can't just pick out the natural rhythm of a drum circle by ear or vibes, so classes like this can help those people at least get a grasp on group rhythm and learning to play off of each other.

  • its an old argument and will probably never be resolved.

in my opinion, the best most energetic and free freestyle circle will hit poinst at which the groove is losing momentum and some kind of change is necessary but no one knows what or when. some players will start to try and impose a new groove, and it can work fine. but sometimes the competition and confusion take ages to settle and sound ropey as hell. sometimes its better to have a point of focus for a change to preserve unity

  • really enjoyed!

  • Wonder what it'd be like to watch that in 5.1 surround sound?

  • ale fajne...

  • this is realy coowl

  • LOL DUDE YES!

  • hey kalani! Long time no see. I will be at PASIC and will say hi if you are there.-Scott Davidson

  • awesome uni-fying effects!!

    Thanks! great work!!!

  • This game is also fun - especially with children - of you use those great big foam fingers you see at sports matches and the like :)
