Traditional Muay Thai has a variety of foundation moves but you are expected to develop your own style and moves (from combining the basics strikes, blocks and stances).
In terms of pure aggression and striking style Muay Thai is one of the most brutal but you have to be innovative to use it fully (why the best western fighters have a discipline in some other form as well).
Kyo-Shin-Kai Karate is on par with Muay Thai for all out brutality.
@sebopolous but i am not a kickboxing expert. but i just watch this as a axervcise cause soon i am going to do some kickboxing but is Thai kickboxing and kickboxing the same?
elbow strikes are the most damaging strikes in my opinion. i've seen a fighter elbow strike his opponents incoming punch and it broke there hand. ive also seen a fighter elbow strike an incoming knee and destroy the fighters knee. using elbows to block is so smart and under used. great technique and demonstration. 5 stars.
@MegaFightFan try it whit ur friend punch on each other fist while u have a fist, ussualy u will have broken some fingers. A elbow is strongest thing on youre arm u have to strike whit.
correct, elbow strikes are commonly used when there's no room for punches, (and knee strikes when there's no room for kicks), for example when fighting on the ground. For training purposes it;s done like this guys shows.
dont read this PLZ Im sorry I didnt start this but Im too afraid to not do this
now that you've startedto read this dont stop or u will be killed. my name is subhan and i have no mouth and no legs and no ears if u dont forward this onto at least 10 videos i will come inot ur room and kill u in ur sleep
This is not Kickboxing, but Muay Thai. In Kickboxing elbows aren´t used! However good video!!

If most elbow strikes are legal in UFC, why are they used so infrequently?
