wow , I just got into lego because of my 3 year old boy , Im became obcessed with this , nice video , having fun with the boys , its all about bonding , ppl are misjudging this video criticizing the father for taking so long , its not easy task when u have lack of time , and two very young and active kids , there's no kid of that age thats gonna sit still on a table for 2 to 3 hours period !! I have a son , so I know how they lose focus and interest quick lol.

your son will probly be awesome lego builder cuz you started him off early, and when i got that ship i had just started out with legos and waasnt very good, i spend like maybe an hour or 2 and got really frasted cuz there were so many pecies, so like a month later atfter watchin the star wars movie with the falcon in it like a million times, i remembers i had it but i lost some peices cuz i dumped all of them in the box(not very wise move cuz the it was even harder to build and any way great vid

It took a 4yo 9 days to build it, which is a great time considering they likely did a lot of other stuff during the day, too. If you look carefully, "Dad" here rarely adds anything, he lets the kid(s) do the construction themselves.

me and a friends friend made this for my friend cus he got it for his birthday...and made us make it..took us about 2 hours with my friends friend finding pieces and me tacking em on with my friend supervising by watching tv....when we finished he ran of and told his mum what "HE" did...before soon dropping it and having us rebuild the whole freaking thing..

kinda slow, my building history is as follows- millen falcon 11 hours AT-AT 12 hours other various small sets 1-3 hours pieces ranging between 200-800, collectors edition imperial star destroyer 6 days (i had alot of trouble finding pieces and i also had school or else i would have gone non stop) i am currently working on the collectors millen falcon 5000 pieces (not building it, just getting the money to buy 1 i have $50.00 little further to go i wasted my $400 on a xbox 360 so yeah

Thanks for the support ;-). You're right that my older son did nearly *all* of the actual construction. My job was to find the pieces and evaluate the building process to be sure nothing was missed. My younger son drifted in and out, sometimes watching, and then moving on to other things - hard to keep the attention of a 2 year old on small Legos...
