Well, I've bought a new Rhodes Mark and I'm VERY DESAPPOINTED !!!!!! Over n° 51 B note, sound is perfect : i can fell the hammer and notes get "Brillance" exellent metallic sound. But under n° 51 B note, sound is not good AT ALL; exactly like simple synthetiser. VERY DESAPPOINTED! A SHAME !!!

On a track it sounds very authentic.

if it wasn't for the Rhodes aesthetic... in other word if I close my eye's id say it was a pretty average emulation. I think these should go more for $3000 than 5. they'd sell a lot more. personally if I had that kinda money to throw down on a real rhodes I'd be looking for a refurbished 67 sparkle top or a early 70's m1. it all comes down to personal tastes though. to each there own as they say.

The person that set up that piano set it up too hot. This will impress a novice for a month, an good musician a week, a top player a few minuets. It killed the smoothness and transistion from soft to bark. Very typical of the average tech. Also, the upper range is to shrill and clanky. They missed the mark so to speak by using the shrill toned tines.

This was recorded with a cheap built in mic from a camcorder or mobile, ok ? Considering that, the piano sounds fantastic. Got that idiot ?? an odd sound very vintage. a bit too elevator bosaova for me.

the funky tune makes makes it sound the best but i think that the tone of the thing makes the last tune sound ace.
