  • I believe the Dalek films were shown on channel 7 during the 80's..

  • Oh Edward, how I love you so. R.I.P Gerald

  • this is seriously awesome. and i know Edward too, he is awesome.

  • @platepluscup123 Yeah, Edward's a really cool guy, who totally isn't writing this comment.. ^_^

  • Oh mate that was awesome, good on you! ROFL at 'Well, sometimes in the loungeroom, sometimes in the shed' and you were a natural on TV, handled it very, very well for a 14 year old. And it's amazing to see that the ABC repeating the 'Dr Who on Channel 2' traditional back middle of this decade (In the lead up to the new series), could have such impact!

BTW lol If the Special Effects career doesn't work out, you could work for Children's TV or something like that, really neat stuff!

  • @CellarDoorAU Why thank you,

I just wish there had been more improvement in the past 3 years. xD

    But really, thanks.

  • i know Edward he is awesome :D

  • I remember seeing this back when it aired on TV, and was amazed at how awesome it looked. You've done a wonderful job.

  • Really?

    Thank you!

And right at this moment I am covered with sawdust from making a new one! XD

  • That's a very well done! Good to see some Australian fans of doctor who and stop motion animation.

  • Hey this looks awesome, do you know how much it cost? Remember me? I was one of your first subscribers plus i live in Geelong and aare you a member of D.W.C.V or D.W.C.A?

  • I do remember you. I am good like that. ^^

The dalek cost around about $100.

I am not a member of either of those clubs, I have been meaning to join one of them sooner or later, but I have never really gotten around to it.

I like Geelong, I was there recently....

Are you intending to build a dalek at one point?

  • Yes, I really want to but i probably won't have the money :(, because im only eleven and don't have any real source of money (execpt my mum it sounds bad i know!). I reckon your Dalek is so cool!

  • Well I was 13 when I started, and it cost $100 over 9 m,\onths, and I don't even get pocket money.

So don't let anything hold you back!

  • its way good, whata re the spheres made from and how'd you stick everything all together?

  • The spheres are made of polystyrene, and he is held together with lots of;

    -hot glue

    -duct tape

-contact(like wrapping paper, but sticky on one side, I used that to make him black all over, it holds him together rather well.

  • maybe I can use this contact on Davros ^^

  • I don't see why not, should be easy. You can buy it at most shops.

  • not in England :o

  • You should be able to,

it is found around the globe (it ain't just us aussies).

You will most likely find it in the stationary sectino of a department store (Like Woolworths, our Woolworths is only roceries and is found nearly never).

It looks like a roll of wrapping paper.

    I hope this helps.

  • heh, I wondered why that Dalek voice was familiar, I have one of them toys, but not the same model

  • great work mate, this is fab!

so whens the next animated dalek episode with my voices ?

  • WOW! 1st you make brilliant CGI Daleks, now real ones! and your 14!! Wow great stuff, and I shall be looking for your name in a few years time, your gonna be great!
