  • I tried photographing a night train which you can see on my channel and the train was just a blur. Check it out. Also what size filters fit this camera. I have yet to find out what size it is.

  • @shooting4fun 30.5 mm.

  • Thanks, really helpful.

  • @CSquire82 Yes, I always use the camera's highest possible quality.

  • I'm looking for to buy good low light camera, this informations enough to go for JVC,

  • is this camera any good? One time i thought about getting it but they were too expensive like 500 bucks. they r probably pretty cheap now b/c everyones going HD. Personally I dont need HD im fine with 4:3 video but my PSP has a 16:9 screen and so does my 19 inch Sansui HDTV.

  • This model was never anywhere near $500. It was JVC's entry-level flash memory camcorder for 2008, originally $250 or so but I got mine on sale for $179, and until recently they had refurbished ones selling for around $150. The closest new model from JVC is the GZ-MS120, which is a little bigger and has two SD card slots. However I would recommend the Canon FS200 instead because it produces clearer video (even while still being Standard Definition) and has an external stereo microphone input.

  • thats a nice camera but a little big for me. I like my can on powershot but id like to be able to use it to record stuff from TV like a DVR. I would use it to record gaming videos.

  • This test is better than my Sanyo Xacti. It has issues with low light and when you zoom in it has to adjust the focus and that kills off the battery.

  • how did you get it in 16:9 mine is stuck in 4:3

  • I use a free program called SDcopy. It transfers the .MOD files from the camcorder into .MPG files on your computer and sets the 16:9 flag, without needing to re-encode. You can also add the tag "yt:stretch=16:9" to your video on YouTube to make it show up in widescreen.

  • can you send me the link?

  • I have the link posted on my video "How to edit/upload from SD camcorders".

  • thank you so much

  • what edditing system did you use???? i cant get mine to look that good. please reply thanks

  • I did not edit this video. I just uploaded it directly from the camera.

  • is it hard to put it on youtube? Where did u get it from and how much?

  • I got it from Amazon (dot) com for $179. I use a free program called SDcopy to transfer the video clips from the camera and then another free program called Video ReDo Plus for video editing.

  • Your camera seems to work well. My HD camera would not see ANYTHING in that low amount of light, even if I put the exposure time on as high as it goes and turned up the gain as far as i could. My other camera would probably be able to see, but the tape deck on it is busted so it would have to record straight onto the computer. I though that cat was in a cupboard for a second. I like flip clock too, pity is doesn't work.

  • It's actually a "roll" clock. The numbers are on rolls of film that are driven by sprockets. The sprocket for the hour numbers is broken.

  • In these conditions my cheap AIPTEK camcorder would record nothing! I really like your new camcorder, it's a really good one!
