If anyone likes the Age of Wonders music (which I really do) I recorded myself playing drums along to the song 'March of the Halflings' which can be watched on my youtube account. I've got the song 'Clouds and Feuds' already synced up to a metronome ready to go if enough people end up watching the first one. This looks like crap, i'm sorry to say. AOW1 has never seen a good sequel unfortunately. The gameplay, balancing, tactics, AI, everything... of AOW1 is superior (still today) and even this intro movie does not compare to the old stylish intro of the original AOW. So sad :( *walks out to play AOW1*

AoW 1 was the best because now there's less strategy needed: wizards can't die as long as theres a wizards tower in their control, now units can break down walls instead of just siege equipment, and archers can move and shoot

It's so true. I hate how they turned AOW2 into more of a 'Heroes of might and magic' style game. It completely ruined the feel of the game.

I haven't played it but damn that sounds like it ruined the game. I truly love AoW1, but from the sounds of it the other part isn't that great...What's the point of walls when anyone can break em down?

@Colintabulous Key: as long as they have the tower. As for units breaking down walls, well it's a little too advantageous to the defender if siege equipment gets destroyed before the walls do...

Archers can move and shoot at the cost of firepower\accuracy.

Defenders are ment to have that advantage, what good are walls if anything can knock it down.
