  • @TheCMBandtheRKO im not sure i have a female and she has tried to feed me a few times kinda gross and she lllllloooooooovvvvvveeeeesssssss kisses

  • i wish i was a love bird. :D

  • Since when has the Animal Planet guy been narrating National Geo?

  • Is that appropriate for YouTube!?(:

  • @National Geographic One of my favorite scenes about birds from National Geographic had to been where this baby bird was trying to either learn how to fly or was just walking around and went over the nest into the water and some piranha's ate it up. R.I.P. bird. Can you guys bring these back on TV into a marathon or something? Or if someone knows what channel they still come on, let me know, please? I miss these. Today's TV stuff sucks and teaches nothing but violence, sex, and bad language.

  • We experienced a few years back

    how adaptable mourning doves are

with humans. We were able to capture

via webcam and camera the building of the nest,

the birth of their squabs and the final flight into adulthood.

A priceless experience for us also!

  • LMFAO! Love birds really know how to get it on...

  • hehehehehehe I love lovebirds!

  • david attenborough is better

  • I love love birds

  • I'm American but I don't like American narrators. British narrators are better.

  • Ni hao, thanks for ur nice clips

  • that evil black beak toucan lookin for trouble lucky those lovebirds did not attack! :>

  • Do you guys kjnow what species means? You guys don't make sence they're a different breed but they're all the same species they're all birds, parrots whatevver you want to call it they're just a different breed they are their own breed no connection to budgies. But they're all the same species.

  • @MasTArrrRR "Bird" is not a species. I believe aves (bird) is a class. So no, they are not the same species. Maybe same family, but not species.

Do YOU know what species means?

  • lol JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA!!!!!!

  • they're so cute!!! :3

  • lovebirds are so cute!

  • I didn't know birds had sex.

  • Hold still baby, let me rough you up a little...

  • You and i are through Henry,i'm going to go fuck me a HORNBILL,his beak is longer then your.HORNBILL know how to poke around.

  • That's it ?? 5 lousy seconds ?? i didn't even feel anything,that's it i'm going to go fuck an eagle,we're through Henry !!!!

  • But Henry honey, you're suppose to eat me first !!! Make me melt and cream in between and i don't want to do it on the tree branch tonight, let's be more adventurous, lets do it in Mid-Air.

  • Come tomorrow night Henry,my turn to be ontop !!!!

  • For Pete sake Henry, not that hole. The other hole damn it !!!

  • Go easy on me Henry,it's my first time..

  • Henry are you done yet ???

  • I hate the narrator.

  • lol that was neat. I have a female lovebird named Smoochie. She lays eggs from time to time, but she has no mate so she can't make babies. Do you think she's still happy with just humans for company? Or do lovebirds need a mate and raise babies to be happy? My bird seems pretty happy.

  • @zcrosby Yes Like Humans eventualy love birds want to be loved By a life long mate and if ur not careful they could die of depression

  • @LilMidna13 Actually, birds, if loved by humans, will simply designate a favorite human as its mate.

  • the narrator is funny xD

  • i just figured out my female lovebird rosie............... IS A GUY AND BAYLE IS FEMALE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !! :(

    Lolzzzzzzz

  • i had two lovebirds, amale and a female. but the male one flew away. then i bought another male. then that male died. so i only have one female, which her name is Clover

  • I think I might be getting one for Chistmas;

I hope they don't hump you like dogs do :)

  • the ending made me laugh :)

  • haha =) made me smile

  • na naghabal mn hinuon ningmga langama.. pwede apil ko?

  • lol porn stars.

  • @FreePersiaForAll budgies are different species of parrots. Lovebirds are their own species of parrots.

  • @MetalBassjunkie420 Wait what?

  • @FreePersiaForAll in other words, budgies are a species of parrots, and lovebirds are another species of parrots. Budgies and lovebirds are not the same species, but they're both parrots.

  • WHERE IN THE WORLD CAN U FIND LOVEBIRDS

  • You can hear in the beginning the narator says Tanzania, Africa...

Actually there are also a couple of them in my livingroom as well... :P

  • i mean where in a pet store in CA

  • well there is onevright next to me right now you can find them in certain pet stores

  • Hahaha, "Actually, it DOES get better than this."

  • Lol last scene

  • wtf?

  • Just recently got a lovebird myself..Gucci..what a cool bird..

  • they are so cute

  • Just like in the human world - location, location, location

  • They are such lovely creatures

I wonder how they actually avoid predators with bright colors like that D:

  • Those bright colors are camouflage against flowers and colorful bushes. They also use it for mating.

  • most adorable couple in the animal world

  • They treated each other better then christians and muslims.Loveliness is godliness, observe and learn from our feathered friends if you will.

  • They look so beautiful in their natural habitats,i hate to see them in cages,it really depressed me.Incarcerated simply for being beautiful, where is the justice for my little feathered friends ??

  • Hey, I just got a lovebird and he's very happy... And I'm a vegan so I would never hurt animals... If you take good care of a lovebird it doesn't get depressed in its cage.

  • Ive got 2, they look fantastic, very healthy, and deffo not depressed !!

  • doggy style

  • @al3baidly I think it would be quite difficult to do it the other way... LOL They'd fall off the branch.

  • I think the male was enjoying it 'cause like he was rolling around on her back while "it" is still in there, name suits the bird

  • when i came back from school i fpund my birds watching bird porno

  • I got my Fischer's lovebird for $95 from Chopmist Hill Aviary in RI. It was about an hour drive from my home near Boston. The aviary was very clean and my lovebird settled in nicely.

However, if you really want a lovebird you should make sure to do some research first. A single lovebird like I have needs a lot of attention, and while my lovebird can be very sweet and loving sometimes, he can also bite HARD.

  • umm ooookkkk that last bit wasnt really neccisery to show

  • my mom's lovebird is eeeeebul D:

  • OMG! SO COOL!

  • hornbills looking for prey??? aren't they fruit eaters?

  • they like to eat lovebirds eggs

  • I'm shocked! (just kidding) Actually I didn't know eggs could be considered as prey. It's a little bit like picking fruits. I thought the word prey implied a possibility for the "prey" to run away.

  • The "prey" did run away. That's why he was "evicted".

  • I wuv lovebirds =3

  • I have a lovebird. :3 I love how this dude narrates it. xD

  • Amazing birds, so cute! I have one too and hes behaving exactly like the ones in the video! Thnx for sharing man, much appreciated!

  • i have a pet lovebird :DD

  • when the female goes to make a nest she will take the nesting material and tuck it in her tail and take it back to her nest its interesting to watch especially when shes puts strips of newspaper in her tail.

  • actually they dont mate for life if one dies then the other one will find another mate to mate with i know ihave 2pairs and the ones mate died so i put another one in with her and she started mating with it.

  • These birds are just awesome.

  • Love these birds!

  • FICHERS!

    THATS THE KIND I HAVE!

  • lol thats funny and intresting :P

  • watch without sound; the end commentary is atrocious

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • i want one

  • Narrator sounds like Adam Carolla

  • Adam Carolla would NEVER be hired by National Geographic because it is a respectable entitee and its a family oriented channel. While Adam is well, you think of him and you think of comedy/sex (and not with him, by the way. He looks like a dirty monkey).

  • my bird neds a partner too!

  • Were they doing what I think they were doing at the end?

  • yes...

  • lol

  • It isn't disqusting, every live thing reproduces, get used to it.

  • i had 1 of these birds at home

  • Haven't you heard the saying about "the birds and the bees.."?

  • there sooooooooooooo cute ^^

  • lol that was ccol

  • "Actually, it does get better than this," LMFAO

  • Lmao. I love lovebirds. I have a peachface lovebird :P

  • lol wat a kool bird

  • its nature u dumbass.

  • i love the ending i loved it ;)

  • i can only see the first 10 secs of the vid ;(

  • "I mean they r love birds though" at the last seconds of the video lol hint: they can never live alone... they need a mate to live.

  • i bought a single lovebird..she's sooooooooo cute!!!!!

  • I agree with you.

  • I surely hope you are joking, because if you are not, you are out of your mind.

  • Aw the love birds are so cute!

  • I hear love birds, once their mate dies the other fails to consume a thing and withers till theyre death.

  • WAIT WAIT WAIT... i have a lovebird.. is that wats goin to happend to him wen i get him a girlfriend? there goin to get married? cuz he said there goin to kiss to show that there goin to be togather for ever.... so is he nd her goin to do the same thing?

  • wow and i tho hampters hump weird :s (by meaning is that all you see is a blur in hampters.... >.>)

  • We have lovebirds living in our backyard. I have a video of it.

  • thats shit its just birds flying around its cool for like the first 10 seconds cos the cute birds but how can you watch it for long.

  • The guy tries to fuck the girl. And the girl is just like. o_o Is it in yet?

  • theres a collection of monk parakeets here in brooklyn, really cool!

  • Lovebird's genus is: Agapornis: from the Greek Agape, for love, and Ornis, for Bird.

    <3 birds! :D

  • youre sooo funny...

  • yeah cool i have a bird that kind as a pet, he is soo pampered with great personality. their pretty smart too! and interactive with humans. and they think that they have been rated best for kids in some bird magazines, but i'm not really sure what's their species name.. anybody can tell me?. thnx!.

  • It depends on the species of bird actually, theres many different types of lovebird out there. I'll give the regular english names for examples then it'd be easier to look up. To start theres the most common lovebird in captivity, the peachfaced lovebird, then theres the masked, black cheeked, madagascar, fisher's, and the nyasa. then theres the mutations, black winged, grey headed, black collared, and the red faced lovebird.

  • lindos lovebird o inseparables su es agapornis personata de la familia de los loros su origen es de Sudafrican Sabanas

    herbert briceño

  • PARROTS

  • Pretty birds!

  • cool...we have lovebirds in Arizona, but from what i've heard it's apparently an accident that theyre here.

  • Thats true because, some owners arent careful enough with their birds and they escaped and formed a colony in arazona. One good reason why not to leave window's and doors open when the lovebird is out, or to lock the cage when the lovebird figures out howto open it so it doesnt fly out and get hurt or escape.

  • lol

"well actually it does get better"

  • Why they r shaggig each other in doggy style why not in bird style? lol

  • next the flyingdutchman will praise allah for these birds....

  • Hahahahah! Somebody got thier first! hahahahaah I love how that guy said that and the bird slowly creeps out..

  • LOL. That's......uhmmmmmmm nice. They stay together for all their life? Aren't animals usually promiscuous. This is pretty odd.

  • There are LOTS of animals (from voles to seahorses to dolphin), especially among birds (cranes, swans, raptors, penguins, etc), that are lifelong partners,... although genetic testing of offspring has shown that there is also occassional infidelity going on as well even among supposedly monogamous partners that "seem" inseparable. Until genetic testing proved otherwise, it was once estimated that 94% of all birds were monogamous.

  • thanks for the info.

  • You're welcome. I have a degree in zoology, but I googled for the info before commenting just to make sure of my facts. :]

  • Humans arent meant to be monogamous, but rather serial monogamists. that means humans are most comfortable marrying, divorcing, marrying, divorcing, etc.
