Well I like to say I'm Québécois by heart and Canadian by passport, maybe this is a compromise you'll accept. If the 'rest of the world' calls me Canadian however, I'll simply just remind them that I prefer being called a Québécois, as I already do with a couple of my friends overseas.

I agree that Canada sets a good example, I just don't happen to feel Canadian. Just like I believe Sweden is a fantastic country with great people, it yet still doesn't make me Swedish. You might be right about Canada being second to the Swiss, but I still wouldn't lump them both on the same boat. Switzerland has done a better job at balancing their constituants than Canada did and most of their people are actually bilingual, quite unlike Canadians.
I don't think it is impossible but I also dont believe it is healthy to have "multiple people and languages" under one flag", as you say. It inevitably creates inequalities as soon as there exists a majority and a minority, the latter will necessairly recognize that its demographic weight is a disadvantage when decisions are made. This naturally creates a drive for self governance.

I agree that Canada sets a good example, I just don't happen to feel Canadian. Just like I believe Sweden is a fantastic country with great people, it yet still doesn't make me Swedish. You might be right about Canada being second to the Swiss, but I still wouldn't lump them both on the same boat. Switzerland has done a better job at balancing their constituants than Canada did and most of their people are actually bilingual, quite unlike Canadians.

The typical Quebecois thinks he's better then everyone, and 50 year olds dress like 10, wtf is up with that??? i have family in Quebec, and yes they are good people, but some of them are also total douchebags!!!!! at first, quebec is a nice place, but when you really get to see how they are, you get to realize many things about them.

The Québécois might enjoy french oversea destinations but I very much doubt their travelling habits are all that much different from Canadians or Americans ; they are big fans of Europe and southern sunny destinations, most of them spanish.

Canada doesn't rape any resources or money, Quebec gets more money than it gives and benefits from being in a larger country economically. So why separate? Moreover, on to Québec receiving more than it gives, this is something I'd love you to show me. Hopefully you don't believing flashing equalization closes that debate, it represents only a small fraction of transfer payments to the provinces.
And even beyond transfer payments, examples of Ottawa money wasted are not so rare. For exemple, does Québec get anything whatsoever from its own money invested in a war overseas, for that matter? What is our return on investment there?

Vous parlez français mais il est très possible qu'il soit inadéquat pour l'emploi que vous recherchiez. Il est ridicule de reprocher ensuite au Québec d'être une province française et d'en faire conséquemment sa gérance. Il faut faire mieux que baragouiner la langue lorsque l'on aspire à un emploi de haut niveau.
Similairement dans le RdC, un anglais de cet ordre serait problématique dans votre recherche d'emploi. Votre habilité à communiquer sera prise en compte.

Mais il est impossible d’apprendre le francais si les minorite visible ont des difficultes a s’integrer dans le marche de travail qui est le plus simple partout au monde. Par contre, ce genre de justification est juste courant au Quebec pour expliquer au gouvernement federal pourquoi les taux de chomage sont tres elevees chez les minorite visible et pour en chercher plus d’argent pour les subventionner. Mon cher, le taux de chomage dans la ville de quebec est 4.1% le moins au monde.

C'est vrai qu'il existe un certain cercle vicieux là-dedans et c'est pourquoi il existe aussi des programmes de francisation gratuits qui pourraient franchement être plus fréquentés. Le Québec fait également un effort pour attirer des immigrants qui sont soit déjà francophone ou d'une nationalité facilement 'francisable' en priorité.
Le taux de chômage de la ville de Québec est le plus bas au Québec, mais certainement pas au monde.

I work in a Pharma Lab with Québécois born in other countries, from the Maghreb countries mostly. They outnumber those born in Québec and those are jobs that require at the very least a college degree.
Do you speak french? You didn't make it clear. If you don't, that is a problem in a province where the language is required, it IS a french province. I assume you do if you've been to l'UdeM.

It would have been less, and we would have been able to create our own country if the rest of the Canada, especially Ontario, didn't come in Montreal three days before the referendum and cried, because they wanted us not to leave them.
