try going with the asrock p45 motherboard with 2xpcie 2.0 slots and support for ddr3 and ddr2. its also got a maximium of 2000 fsb. it might not me that great for overclocking,but it will get your q6700 to 3.2ghz. all you have to do is enable memory remapping for 4gigs or over ram.

OH MAN DUDE I TOLD U NOT TO GET THAT MOBO. INTEL BRAND BOARDS SUCK ASS. Asus or gigabyte is better. You will get much better bios options when it comes to overclocking and power efficiency. Nice for the quad core. Also get DDR2 mem and save urself a ton and get that second graphics card. The graphics card makes all the games run better. Ram just helps the OS and loadings.

Well you bought an OEM cpu which has no cpu fan. U need to buy retail. Also that cpu cooler wont get u far with overclocking

i want a quad core cause i do alot of multitalking cause i also do advanced video editing i dont do much cause of the slow speeds of this computer im on so i need to be runninh multiple programs at once.

And also the case your getting is very nice cost a little more than the one im getting i will be buying another case down the line so i may be looking for somthing around 150 so i can keep cool. Im going to also be over clocking my quad core later on when i buy some more fans.

Get a 64bit os. You will see improvements with speed with ur video editing. 32bit os only sees 3-3.5gb of ram no more.

Get a 45nm dual core like E8500 or E8500 and good chioce on the ICE Q 4850 want one myself.

I would stay away from Intel boards and get a better cooler why would you get a stock type unit?

good choice of parts if you are going to crossfire get a better board with 2xPCIE slots because the board you are currently using is not crossifre compatible.. i would recommend getting the ASUS P5Q-Deluxe its a really good overclocker i got my e675- 2.66 at 3.6ghz... soo yea make sure u get the right parts for future upgrades..

If you're spending so much on the processor, why would you bother with a 1066 fsb one? It will really bottleneck your performance. In the same price range is the E8600 Core 2 Duo, with is also a 45nm chip, with a 1333 fsb, and it runs at 3.33GHz. I'm not much of an ATi person, so I can't offer much advice on the 4850, though if you're building a gaming rig, it might be worth your money to spend the extra money on a 4870. Also, for the power supply, you may want to think about a modular one.
