What substrate are you using, I just got into these and also some Leachies and love them. I have an empty exo-terra cage 18x18x18 that I may put my guy in when he gets a little bigger. Right now he is in a shoe box size plastic container on paper towels. Thanks in advance.
Hi Meg, I was wondering if you have ever breed R. Chahoua or know any thing about their mating behavior. For some reason my male attacks the female as if it were a male? Any thing would help thnxs.
@leopardgecko222 Exo-Terra sells screened enclosures - you can find them at PetSmart and other pet retailers. If you google Exo-Terra, you can find details about them under "Products." I can't seem to find a price. If I remember correctly, around $40-ish. Hope this was helpful.
I am reminded of Pavlov's Dogs with your blue dish. I did not think reptiles intelegent enough for classical conditioning, it's actually quite facinating to know they are. It's also so fun to catch a gecko being so active. ^_^ I always enjoy your video's. Hope you had fun at your reptile show!
I like the fact you feed Dubia Cockroaches. I have so many (100 plus) nymphs. They are so nutricious. All my herps love them. Your gecko is nice a large. I like the size of this one. I am not familiar with geckos, thanks for showing off this species. I like the name, sounds hawaiian.
@leopardgecko222 they are pretty cheap. you can by a cage called a chameleon cage, made of all mesh, which are pretty cheap i saw one that was like 24x36x24 in inches that was about 40 dollars. good price. then you can buy one like this one that is about 60 dollars. or you can build on. hope this helps
@leopardgecko222 well i personally have never seen a cage like the one you want at the expo where i go to. but you could find one. i would guese that they would be around for a 12x12x12 prob 35-40 dollars. so they are a little pricy. but if you dont find one, go on to lllreptile. they have great pricing. better than an expo i think
