Chuck Berry played "Memphis" with JR on the 70's late night concert series "In Concert. I have a "less than perfect" mp3 of the segment (JR plays "Six Days On The Road", "Rockin' Pneumonia", "Sittin' In Limbo" & "Memphis")
I wonder if Chuck Berry ever duoed this song with Johnny Rivers. He (Chuck) is the real king of rock 'n roll. I was 10 years old when Johnny B. Goode appeared. It set the pace for all that followed. It's hard to pick a favorite, but "Sweet little sixteen" has to bethe all-time rock 'n roll classic.
Wow! great duo, Trini all well behaved and square cut and Chuck doing his own tempos and changes, the fact that they managed to sound well togheter is a tribute to their musicanship.
This is a kinescope clip taken from the 1965-66 NBC series "Hullabaloo" a fantastic..yet sadly short-lived show featuring the popular rockers of its time. This clip was the "Hullabaloo A Go Go" segment which ran right before the closing credits. Trini jammin' with Chuck.....two great rock guitarists.
Que dupla heim!

Ya know, in profile they kinda look like brothers ... if you adjust the "brightness" and "contrast" a bit :-) Great duet!
