  • 3:40 is one of the sickest scenes ever filmed in movie history

  • Remarkable how the enormous bubble of chewing gum has seams stitched into it...just like a weather balloon...hey, you don't think...NAH...

  • I loved that movie as a kid.

  • I remember watching this as a kid, too, and went to see if it was available to stream on Netflix, which it is not. I haven't seen this movie for many years, and I just found out it was a movie made in Italy with dubbed English throughout the movie. I didn't realize that until a few mins ago. I don't remember it being that way when I first saw it. Its not as obvious as most dubbed Jackie Chan ninja movies. Is this true? Does anyone know? Was it dubbed? Blows my mind.

  • @agertsen same here i grew up in the 80s and i love this movie i can never get enough of it

  • I know right, good memories.

  • Freaking AWESOME!!!!

  • Yep, I remember watching this over and over as a kid. I'm pretty sure I have dain bramage now...

  • Forget HBO, I saw this in the theater.

  • I remember this movie. That's why I did a search, but I didn't remember how campy and cheesy it was. Also, since you wrote that HBO used to play the same movies over and over, that explains why I even watched this in the first place.

  • Classic cheese.

  • and people continue to wonder why humanity in general is hopelessly brain dead

  • @GeddyRules go fuck yourself.

  • @mannycoon

    and...Checkmate. Case closed.

  • Who's the woman who played Evelyn?

  • Everything's explained, now I know why I am insane...I thank this YT creator wholeheartedly for solving the puzzle...as I too, watched this film over and over and over on HBO...he's a super, super, really super duper...wow!

  • This brings back memories! Superfuzz was played on a loop on HBO with Clash of the Titans. And if you are seriously saying that you didn't enjoy this movie then u are a liar. My sisters and I used to have this memorized. Thanks for the post. It is awesome.

  • God I forgot how completely ridiculous the origin of his "supa" powers were. He accidentally shoots a nuclear missile? How cringe-tastically 80's!

  • Oh wow...I remember HBO playing this 20 times every day for like a year. Id forgotten just how completely idiotic this movie was....but what the hell it's nice to stroll down memory lane every once in a while!

  • I was 7 and this was my favorite movie along with the Pirate movie at this time. "Supa Supaaaaaa"

  • @Bignum Rofl..ahh the Pirate Movie..which was a rip off of the equally cheesy Pirates of Penzance..Children of the 80's unite!

btw..I gotta admit, the kid in me was excited to see the bubblegum scene again

  • i was 6 when this came out...loved it then, love it nizzow!!

  • wil ferrell of the 70s

  • Great flick! thank christ this is on DVD!

Am I the only one who thought the girl looked hotter with the red hair? Great nostalgic memories. I remember seing this when it did play constantly on HBO. I was about 11-12 at that time.

  • I actually liked this movie =D

Beside the fact it looked like it was made by people on too much cocaine

    xDD

  • hmm must be talking about mtv.

  • One of my favorite movies as a kid!! Never missed it when it was on HBO or later when it was on Saturday afternoon movies on Fox. But why cant I find it anywhere to watch now? no dvd no video nothing!!! its like the one movie in the world that doesnt exist any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, brings back memories. Use to watch it as a kid. Did find the orginal vhs, still have back in hs yrs. Then found dvd at hasting few months ago. Old movies are hard to find..

  • OMG I loved this movie too when I was literally 5 years old. I never thought I would see a single scene of it ever again! Thanks to whoever put this together! I can't believe how much of it I retained, like them ending up in China in the end.

And I just love that his super powers allow him to speak Fish..... Now that's GENIUS!

    Long Live David Speed!

  • I had totally forgotten about this movie until just recently when I came across a movie with Terence Hill in it. I was like OMG.....and thats when I remembered this movie...Ah the memories, love this movie. So wanna download this movie now so . If anyone knows where I can find a site where its FREE, please tell me. :-)

  • I named my goddam youtube handle after this movie I love it so much.

  • I can't remember why but didn't he eat like 50 bowls of beans for his last meal?

  • Sound and dubbing on this film was incredible. . .and I put "supa supa" as one of my ringtones. . thank you man.

Terrence Howard did good film imo called "My name is nobody" btw

  • not only a cool movie but has one of the best soundtracks of any movie

  • Supah-SupaaaAAAAAHHH!

  • Loved this movie when I was 5. This, ladies and gentlemen, is cinema at its finest. The Godfather. Citizen Kane. Super Fuzz.

  • @Legacy76

Don't forget his star role in "My Name is Nobody". Another great movie of his.

  • @Legacy76 i agree... im looking for it on dvd lol

  • Holy Jesus ("Hey Seuss")! No need to be sorry , Brenda. That was hilarious !

  • O.K. I'm just gonna say it. Terence Hill is kinda hot.

  • Great movie. Great memories.

  • i remember this movie when i was a kid its still cool

  • Ha ha, I saw it at the theater when I was like 10. Gee, man! only Italians can reach such fantastic levels of stupidity and crappiness on a flick. But well, it was an acceptable crappy movie back then.

  • Dont know if youre tryin to trash this movie or not but this movie did its job, it was fun to watch. It was uncomplicated, simple and fun. Which is far more than the garbage H. Wood is puttin out today. Get together some untalented young people, do a remake or a predictable horror movie or a sequel to a horror movie and people will go for it then move on to the next one.

  • If you liked this movie you will enjoy the Trinity Series including "They Call Me Nobody"

  • Outstanding!! I think I watched that movie on a daily basis when I was five or six. It's odd how often I think about that movie. I don't remember him being put on death row...that's just so weird. I don't think i've seen any of this movie since '82 or so. Thanks for posting this video.

  • im so glad i found this film.i havent seen this since i was a kid.use to watch it on HBO all the time.couldnt remember what is was called but just happen to be doing reaserch on a actor who played on airwolf and found that he plays in this movie as the super cops partner.

  • strange I thought this movie was on Showtime. Oh well I go the video cassette anyway. Good for a few random laughs but some old classics are just freaky to watch.

  • I guess he wont be rescuing her anytime soon! Not even Lois Lane would dress in kryptonite. XD

  • I had totally forgotten about this movie. Thanks for undoing all the shock therapy :)

Seriously, I saw this in the theatre as a teenager. I seem to remember one of the attempts to execute him involving some red roses someone sent him - to watch as he died, I suppose. :) Anyone else remember that?

  • That's when they used the electric chair on him.

  • I must have seen this damn movie 500 times on HBO. I remember this movie and it was great. Those were the days.

  • that was a great movie , and i want a copy of this movie!

  • OMG! Thank you! I now know that I'm not alone. There are others out there who remember this obscure movie about a superhero who is weakened anytime he sees the color red. You have given me back a piece of my childhood. A very sad and pathetic piece, but a piece nonetheless.

  • Thanks for distilling this down to 7 minutes! I don't get how the gum thing worked. How did it get to the outside of the submarine thing?

The talking fish I'm cool with.

Then again, what's with his bemused look at the end? What was he expecting under the veil? Didn't he just propose to that girl?? Arghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

  • Red takes away his powers. Her hair was dyed red.

  • of course! thanks wookie, how on earth did you figure that out?

  • And just when I thought I was the only one that remembered this crazy movie lol...good post

  • This movie must have been written after 3 sleepless days on meth.

  • that was an awesome montage. in fact, the only way to watch it at this point in my 35 year old life. love it!

  • LOL right there with ya bro

  • NEED COPY OF THIS MOVIE

  • I have this on VHS awsome Movie

  • CHINGUEN A SU RREPUTAMADRE

  • this movie was a classic!

  • And the five movies were:

    Super fuzz

    Six Pack with Kenny Rogers

    Star Wars

    Grease 2

    The Poseiden adventure

  • that was great. remember watching that as a kid, great comp...thx for the nostalgia

  • asshole

  • They showed this and "Hero at Large" all the fuckin time...

I'm sorry, but this movie still holds up quite well...

  • What the hell was with the guys accent?????

  • Terence HIll is actually Italian

  • Thanks for making me feel old...

  • I totally forgot about how they fall through the earth to China... I guess I just blocked out the absurdity.

And you're right... they played this movie ALL the fucking time.

  • juding from the star on the phone booth, they're in Vietnam

  • I must have watched this movie a million times on hbo as a kid. This movie is cheesy as hell now but then to an eleven year old kid , it was funnier than hell.....

  • Yes, I used to watch this on Showtime whenever it was on!

  • This was a funny movie. Not one of the best, but I enjoyed it.

  • This movie is perfection. I watch at least once a month and it never gets old.

  • HBO really played the hell outta this. Not that I minded. I was around 10-11 years old and loving every minute of this flick.

  • I remember this haha! HBO also played the hell out of "Swamp Thing", "Harry's War", "Mt St Helens". This movie kinda makes you wonder if acting and writing had been invented before 1981. The Godfather was before this right? lol

  • Supah SUPAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Oh, yeah, after seeing this in the fourth grade, here it is on Youtube!

Truly, among the greatest works in motion picture history, and a fun summer day in '80 for a little kid.

  • wow. I saw this in the theater when I was about 5. One of the first movies I remember seeing

  • This was one of the first movies i ever remembered seeing too! I don't have a clue how I found it on youtube! lol I forgot all about it

  • SUPER SNOOOOOPER

  • I love that movie!!!!!!!!

  • That is hilarious. I used to love that flick.

  • lmao! I forgot about the red hair at the end.

  • i never realized how annoying the soundtrack was

  • Heck man that was a great movie.. I guessi was about 5 or 6 when that move came out... Ahhh, the glory days of HBO

  • damm,30 is the new 50 lol!! can't believe i found this

  • Cool!

  • Fuckin A

  • i remember confusing this with the greatest american hero (i was too young to tell the difference between a movie and a tv show back then) thanks for posting this...great memories

  • I only saw this movie once when I was a little kid in the 80s. What other weird movies like this did HBO show back then?

  • The Pirate Movie and Beastmaster were the two others I remember. I must have watched each about 200 times. It still annoys me that AFI hasn't put neither Super Fuzz, The Pirate Movie or Beastmaster on any of it's "Best Movie" lists.

Why do they ignore the calls of the HBO generation?

  • U mean The Ice Pirates? U're right, along w/ Beastmaster they were the foundation of HBO (I used 2 watch it for free on an old black&white Solid State. U had to turn it to channel 2 but there was no sound so u needed another TV tuned to the scrambled HBO to hear it.

Somebody should put these 3 movies together in a digitally remastered box set with 5.1 and 1080p. I wanna be able to taste the bubble gum, smell the fear of the metal castrator, & see the water droplets roll off Tanya Roberts.

  • @boyNtheCorner3 man u catz are bringing back the memories ,,,,i just love the beast master and Ice pirates ,,i may not get to join your club because im not sure if i have ever seen super fuzz ..lol u guys remember ''the brother from outer space ? ..or the short clip Eraser head ,,,or ''Fish heads fish heads rolly polly fish heads ?? classics

  • @MrBingo9er It was "A Brother from Another Planet" dir. by John Sayles. Great flick!

  • @MrBingo9er Fish Heads song from Doctor Demento oh yeah , he has tons of other music :)

  • great stuff...but wasn't there a great scene of ernest borgnine dancing on top of the bubble? i haven't seen it since i was an HBO kid, but it seems vaguely possible.

but the conversation with the fish is still the best. i literally would roll on the floor laughing at that scene. i wish i could find things as funny as i did when i was a kid. i guess they don't make TRULY stupid movies the way they used to.

  • a bubble with seams i remember the movie when i was a kid..we had cineaveiw that showed the same movie over and over.. seems like history repeating it self again

  • My 1st YouTube post comment.

Yeah, this movie isn't all that great, but I was one of those "HBO kids" in the 80's, and this is one of the movies that stuck with me, primarily because it's so obscure. My other favorite is "Twice Upon a Time", produced by George Lucas. Look it up. I own both on VHS. Do teens even know what VHS is anymore?

  • If you are an HBO kid, you must remember another great film they ran all the time called "Hot Stuff".

  • Omg - this film and "They Call Me Bruce". SUPER CHEESE. But I miss the cable re-runs XD !!!!!!

  • Wonder if she had the carpet match the curtains? ;)

  • I saw this in the theater when I was about 10 and I was wondering if it was as stupid as I remember. Seeing clips of it on YouTube make me realize that no, it isn't. It's even more stupid than I remember. Ouch!

    But the soundtrack is catchy.

  • This was a great movie, but watching this is an eye opener. First, your b/f is going to get the chair and your doing laundry?? WTF???

  • great theme song, though.

    He's a supah snoopah...!

  • Great vid. :)

    Except that...

You're too afraid to admit that you LOVE this movie even though it's cheesy. That's a bit weak, dude.

Everyone who found this on YouTube KNOWS it's a cheesy film but that's why everyone who found it on YouTube LOVES it.

Come on , man... Just say that you LOVE it.

    Say it! ;)

  • Oh, I definitely do. It was a staple of my latch-key childhood... along with 80's sitcom reruns and Looney Tunes.

I wouldn't be the morose introvert that I am today if it weren't for their influence.

  • Amen.

  • I triple that!

  • work of art this movie, a work of freakin art.

  • for years on end i was trying to figure out the name to this when it popped in a few minutes back

  • Me too

  • You know,I think I enjoyed that movie every time it was showed on HBO! And I've been hoping they'ed play it again!! I know, it's sad.
