I remember watching this as a kid, too, and went to see if it was available to stream on Netflix, which it is not. I haven't seen this movie for many years, and I just found out it was a movie made in Italy with dubbed English throughout the movie. I didn't realize that until a few mins ago. I don't remember it being that way when I first saw it. Its not as obvious as most dubbed Jackie Chan ninja movies. Is this true? Does anyone know? Was it dubbed? Blows my mind.
I remember this movie. That's why I did a search, but I didn't remember how campy and cheesy it was. Also, since you wrote that HBO used to play the same movies over and over, that explains why I even watched this in the first place.
Everything's explained, now I know why I am insane...I thank this YT creator wholeheartedly for solving the puzzle...as I too, watched this film over and over and over on HBO...he's a super, super, really super duper...wow!
This brings back memories! Superfuzz was played on a loop on HBO with Clash of the Titans. And if you are seriously saying that you didn't enjoy this movie then u are a liar. My sisters and I used to have this memorized. Thanks for the post. It is awesome.
Oh wow...I remember HBO playing this 20 times every day for like a year. Id forgotten just how completely idiotic this movie was....but what the hell it's nice to stroll down memory lane every once in a while!
Am I the only one who thought the girl looked hotter with the red hair? Great nostalgic memories. I remember seing this when it did play constantly on HBO. I was about 11-12 at that time.
One of my favorite movies as a kid!! Never missed it when it was on HBO or later when it was on Saturday afternoon movies on Fox. But why cant I find it anywhere to watch now? no dvd no video nothing!!! its like the one movie in the world that doesnt exist any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, brings back memories. Use to watch it as a kid. Did find the orginal vhs, still have back in hs yrs. Then found dvd at hasting few months ago. Old movies are hard to find..
OMG I loved this movie too when I was literally 5 years old. I never thought I would see a single scene of it ever again! Thanks to whoever put this together! I can't believe how much of it I retained, like them ending up in China in the end.
And I just love that his super powers allow him to speak Fish..... Now that's GENIUS!
I had totally forgotten about this movie until just recently when I came across a movie with Terence Hill in it. I was like OMG.....and thats when I remembered this movie...Ah the memories, love this movie. So wanna download this movie now so . If anyone knows where I can find a site where its FREE, please tell me. :-)
Ha ha, I saw it at the theater when I was like 10. Gee, man! only Italians can reach such fantastic levels of stupidity and crappiness on a flick. But well, it was an acceptable crappy movie back then.
Dont know if youre tryin to trash this movie or not but this movie did its job, it was fun to watch. It was uncomplicated, simple and fun. Which is far more than the garbage H. Wood is puttin out today. Get together some untalented young people, do a remake or a predictable horror movie or a sequel to a horror movie and people will go for it then move on to the next one.
Outstanding!! I think I watched that movie on a daily basis when I was five or six. It's odd how often I think about that movie. I don't remember him being put on death row...that's just so weird. I don't think i've seen any of this movie since '82 or so. Thanks for posting this video.

OMG! Thank you! I now know that I'm not alone. There are others out there who remember this obscure movie about a superhero who is weakened anytime he sees the color red. You have given me back a piece of my childhood. A very sad and pathetic piece, but a piece nonetheless.
I must have watched this movie a million times on hbo as a kid. This movie is cheesy as hell now but then to an eleven year old kid , it was funnier than hell.....
I remember this haha! HBO also played the hell out of "Swamp Thing", "Harry's War", "Mt St Helens". This movie kinda makes you wonder if acting and writing had been invented before 1981. The Godfather was before this right? lol
