While there's no way in hell I'm buying an iPhone 4S, and siri isn't terribly original, it's certainly implemented VASTLY better than most all other speech recognition programs. "they finally perfected this shit!" is about as accurate as I can get. Now to make it learn.
An alternative to Siri that works on ALL iPhones, iPods and iPads, is ‘Voice Ask’. You get a virtual assistant that has a huge knowledge base (better than Siri), and has voice recognition that works better with foreign accents. It is being improved constantly. Get it at voiceask.com.
