  • This is the soundtrack of Kidulthood, i always wondered who made this great song.

  • nate principato standars forsaken

  • one of the most amazing songs ive ever heard

  • Whatever this group does..keep doing it, there is some magical about Cinematic Orchestra that I can put my finger on, and I don't I want to either.

  • Man can't explain how this song makes me feel. It's so fucking deep. Makes me feel so weird like no other song can. And roots manuvas lyrics are mind blowing.

  • why for good god's sake would someone dislike this ?????

  • @namiomani I AGREE.

  • Have you listened to Morning Parade - Under The Stars yet?

    (watch?v=emV2uetpx60&feature=fvst) very very similar

  • Two dislikes mean two dead brains not worth pissing on!

  • @Aquariankilla Face to such a wonderful peaceful track I cannot understand someone loving it to use such expressions in the same moment!!!! I don't believe you loving it and loving music cause if so, you would find other words to show your feelings...Well, bro...listen, feel, and then: think about yourself and the poor ones, not beeing able to love this amazing track... what would you say to them then, hmm?

  • @JuliePanther I will use whatever words I feel at the time to make my point! Do you really believe this song is about beauty? It is about a disease called Man. You may live in a sugar coated world but not me. I am not here to live up to your expectations nor do I seek guidance from anyone... least not by those whose grammar is so poor.

I can't believe I have never heard of this movie, but I'm glad I did now.

  • Buena aportación. Lástima que aquí en México no se consiga un solo disco de TCO. Ni siquiera se pueden bajar los discos del Ares.

  • @rene0g0ade En filestube lo encuentras rapido. Yo de ahi los consegui.

  • One the deepest tracks ever produced, no matter what the genre. I used to play this to people that ridiculed rap music for being shallow etc, just to show the power the artform could have in the right hands.....

  • rootsalicious...

  • whats the intstrumental?

  • i think the instrumental is just called "All Things" and its found on the Man With The Movie Camera album.

  • @syxx7wun thanks

    Not even on the soundtrack

  • anyone got the instrulmental???

  • Dont u just wish this tune would go on forever....

  • when I hear music like this it gives me hope and inspiration that there is still a lot of soul out there in this world

  • This tune is too true!! I cant stop listening to it, sound's like the esscence of depression, yet in a way it helps my own!! and im sure from looking at all urs y'all feel the same

  • i just see the gray sickening streets of london when i hear this.

we forget each other, one road, one journey, one race, many brothers.

  • Very meditading to listen to. Reminds me of Philip Glass (Koyaanitsqatsi) ...

  • agreed, very phillip glass-like

  • This song speaks to me at my core. Its like hearing someone else tell my story....and I am merely an extra in it. Its truly intense and overwhelming.

  • I keep getting shivers down my spine when i listen to the intro.

    Truly supernatural song.

  • This went to the next level when I figured out the song is about Jesus.

  • @noirtriptyline How pretentious..

  • @K4inan How so?

  • @K4inan Its just my interpretation not meant to impress you or any other punter on here.

  • First time I heard this song was the ending of the UK film "Kidulthood". This song is boss.

  • what genre of music would this be considered as???

  • Nujazz - jazz with electronica elements.

  • Awesome, truly incredible piece of music

This tune, decent sounds system + spliff = Heaven.

The worse thing? Busted have probably sold more records.

Shows that the public are idiots

  • Yeah valid point, buts its cos its kids buying that sorta shite. This sorta music is EPIC, but i doubt young teens can appreciate it!

  • bullshit, i heard this track around when i was 15-16, n me n allllll my mates were bumpin it, id say it talks to a younger generation aswell as an older generation

  • @losingedge12 yes mate!!! haha, sitting on my sofa wiv a phat bean thinking in deep too this brilliantly put together bit of music. and not many cud do it justic like manuva!!!

  • @losingedge12 that combination truly is heaven.....and it's not the public that's broken, it's the system, and the "art" they're selling to the people...those people just dont take the time to dig deeper, find the true pieces of art, it's a shame

  • @losingedge12 Would rather the idiots buy busted than contaminate good music like this.

  • @losingedge12 in the spirit of love ,,read"Jonathan Livingstone Seagull"

  • the creastive process of making this must have been so iuntense and emotional for these guys, everyone who hears this track is just floored by it, I can only imagine what the energy was like when it was being composed,

  • in general i dont listen to music like this but i have to say this a nice track!

  • sit down and enjoy some relaxing music

  • the atmosphere of this track is so intense. you can use for it all kinds of slideshowing, moviemaking or general anti-stress activities. cinematic ftw.

    thx for sharing :)

  • Lypamai.....come back.......

  • Is there a version of this song w/o the rapping?

  • Yes, in the album "Man with a movie camera" there is an instrumental versión :)

  • @DrInverosimil Roots manuva makes this track for me..

  • i think the rapping makes the song...

  • I don't mind the rapping, but after hearing the song a million times I got kinda sick of it, Not only that, but I wanted to be able to jam (solo) over the whole track on my guitar w/o being interrupted.

  • yea thats cool... its just i dunno.. i just think the rappin makes in stand out more, and really makes it more catchy. brilliant brilliant song though..

  • Good call. Great song indeed.

  • @GFitzpatrick this also has rappinn in :) stick with it ..

  • @GFitzpatrick

I wish I could find it. that rap shit destroyed the music

  • @jaceklupl Shut the fuck up mate, its on the boundaries of rap and poetry, and you should appreciate how well Roots writes his verses around this instrumental.

  • @GFitzpatrick ninjatunedotnet!

  • I'm All Things to All Men

    All of the Women

    All the Children

    Just say when

and I'll take you to my Tardis

    Who's the Hardest

    Who's the Hardest

    Agggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pero que buenooooooooooo.

  • Thankyou for posting this!!!! :)

  • This is one of the first songs I ever heard by The Cinematic Orchestra. This is the "Everyday" release. The fact the band is all live and not sampled is a compliment to them. They do, however, play the background to this video referencing the 1968 movie, "Petula". Excellent film and score. This song and all of the movie had a haunting quality to it. It fits for Manuva's powerful delivery of the lyrics. I still feel shivers when I hear this piece. Thanks!

  • man this track is slick indeed

  • tune!

  • Thank you for posting - a rap song with a very real message. Much appreciated.

  • Ya era hora de que alguien se subiera esto.

    5 estrellas pero ya!

  • Great song and video :)

  • Poner delante de la liga el signo "amperson" seguido de "fmt=18" (sin las comillas y sin espacios) para calidad completa en cualquiera de mis videos :)

  • Perfect
