Hey! I have the same problem with my X-Arcade joystick. It plays well in other games like MVC3 but not MVC1. The joystick is programmed with the "thumbsticks" on the PS Controller. If you switch on the controller and use the thumbsticks it would not work. MVC1 is programmed to use the "directional pad" to do your movements. Once you turn on thumbsticks (which is easier) or switch the joystick software to use the directional pad, your joystick would work. Tryin to turn on thumbsticks for mvc1.
