I competed in this too. We had a lot of fun with it, and faced a lot of challenges. I have my video on my account, and I'd appreciate if you watched and told me what you think :)

We also used the Canon GL2 for most of our shots. Oops, sorry I didn't watch the credits till just now, so I withdraw my previous question of asking it was shot on a GL2. :)

@ksbcrocks I think so, on the camera question. And we only got 2nd place at regionals. I basically edited this myself in one night, using a program I never used before, did the audio production the same night, and didn't realize the voice during the interview was mono.

But it was neat meeting and talking to his dad and stuff. Cool experience, but poorly made video, which ended in poor results. :(

The theme was "a local hero" and he's from close to where our school was.
