  • these games have such a powerful emotional score that you can just tell the scenes and the lines and the characters when it starts

  • The miracle happen... Q-Q

  • "The only time a lawyer can cry.... Is when its all over."

  • @Scatman817 Agreed. No wait, I'm Godot, damnit! That's my line!

  • This music is saying to me:

"It's finnaly over, everything is over."

  • @BlazingCobaltX Now is the time when a lawyer is allowed to cry.

  • Here's a good question...

It seems as if the DS games played it old school and didn't vamp up the quality of the music that much. On the other hand, those new pokemon games are completely different from the originals.

I am curious as to what some of these songs would've sounded like if they were remade and not just tweaked (but I think the tweaking worked well for Phoenix Wright).

  • @DLPanda I think it was mainly in fear of corrupting the music that they didn't wan't to tamper with the music too much. There was no pressure to revamp the music like there was with HeartGold and SoulSilver, since despite it's seemingly dated sounds, that was the key in making it work. I'm sure that most of the fans agreed.

Pokemon music essentially originated with simple chiptunes beforehand, and had a lower target audience that practically demanded something more... extravagant, so to speak.

  • @DLPanda (cont. from last post) In contrast, Phoenix Wright had more detailed music that most fans DIDN'T want changed, so there was less pressure to do so. Heck, even a franchise like Pokemon, which has vast majority of it's audience being around 8-12 still decided to play it safe and keep the classic music, in the form of an item: the GB Player.

  • @DLPanda (Continued from the previous post again -_-)

My conclusion it this. Even if Capcom wanted to change the music, pressure from the (admittedly small at that point) fanbase, and not wanting to ruin the music would've probably prevented them from actually doing so.

  • Two Phoenix Wright mangas have been released in the U.S. so far. Some of them definitely take place after the final case of the third game - and Godot is still there. It may or may not be cannon, but he was there, and I was happy. (:

  • so happend to godot?alive or ......

  • godot dont go please...

    T___________T

  • SPOILER! I wonder if Godot got death pentaly?

  • It is implied so.

  • "The standard penalty for murder is death"

    -The Judge

but maybe they went easy on him due to the circumstances

  • since it was self defense, I imagine he would have gotten a lesser sentence. In fact he probably could have been proven innocent

  • Apart from that, given his record and connections as a defense attorney/prosecutor they would probably show some leniency anyway.

  • Technically it wasn't self-defense. He was saving someone else, which I don't think counts legally. Also, it was premeditated.

  • I feel all warm inside hearing this...brings back memories of this game. :')
