The battle with Radec is easy: torch him with the flamethrower, then just blast him with the shotgun over and over again. The hard part, however, is actually getting there.

Go under the stairs and shoot at them through the bars.

Their rockets explode on the bars, they can't get through.

Throw a lot of grenades to kill the infantry, use the sniper rifle on the RPGs, use the flamethrower on Radic and he will die a thousand deaths.

Beautiful.

I did none of these first time out and that's what's so great about this game.

You have to kill them, you can do it anyway you like as long as you're good enough.

I took the RPGs out with my rifle hiding under the stairs.

Hate the shot gun.

Hate the sniper rifle.

Hate the flamethrower.

That rifle was my best friend throughout.

The Sniper bullets should go easily thru wood and thin metal.... not like here that the bookshelfs on the ground floor seem to be ballistic materials XD But I guess thats a Call of duty signature.

I play it on medium. A good position for attacking the RPG's is going around on the left balcony all the way to left corner. Was a good and safe position when using the sniper rifle.

Hah! Even on the easy difficulty this is very challenging. On harder a difficulty level...well, I hope you have nerves of steel, lot of free time, good skill and tons of luck.

Man, I'm playing this stage at a higher difficulty and it is a bitch. The health goes down way to fast and that bitch ass, Riko, keeps getting killed and I have to save his ass ... and get killed while doing it.

And why the fuck did the developers make it that I have to rescue these idiotic A.I team mates and they never rescue ME!?!?! I mean, what the fuck!?

@glenakin On the highest difficulty, Killzone 2 is the worst FPS game ever made. This mission is a joke and Rico is a little bitch -- for the reasons you mentioned. These fuckers are bullet sponges and I've sometimes unloaded what seems like 20 shots into them before they finally go down. When I can kill them with a knife faster than a gun you know the game is bad. The controls are horrible, the weapons suck, the slow reloads suck, the stupidly slow x-axis sucks...just a total suckfest.

Someone really needs to make a walkthrough on Veteran or Elite. Watching this on Easy is just pointless, because you simply cant do what hes doing. If I tried to follow this video on Veteran I'd be dead within seconds. Also, does anyone else find that when doing the balcony, they seem to die completely randomly, or theres just an explosion that comes from nowhere, no grenade beep or anything? :(

There are torches that contain hidden propane tanks on the balcony. Fire once at it and the casing will come off revealing the tank, that's why you're getting blown up.

If you are having difficulty taking out those RPG's i suggest you use the grenade launcher. Aso if you want to kill Radec faster use when he gets close use your Knife.I beat him on max difficulty that way

I played through the game on Elite and found the easiest way to kill Radec is to use a flamethrower on him, he flails around screaming, drifting in and out of invisibility, and you can shoot him every time he appears. It may have been a glitch though as the first time I tried that the flames went out, but last time they went on until he died. This prevented him from attacking in any way, so it was much easier.
