@Darkermandeeper yeah, was thinking that- but doubtless it was choreographed like that, to make things dramatic. doubtless I wouldn't waste time like that though lol
This was my favorite movie as well. Its a shame they don't promote physical outdoor sports as they used to. They wouldn't have 200 lb grade schoolers running around and real physical work outdoors when they are teenagers would be more enjoyable for them.
@zechariah105 Since your comment was only posted 4 months ago... I also used to watch this movie when I was young but I must say... I just went out and bought a 2012 Fit Inman 2 after not riding for 13 years and took it to the local skate park with another friend who also used to race back in the day. EASILY one of the best days I have had in years. Money, women, cars, life... etc. Never stop riding. Period. Its THAT awesome. Oh yeah.. I wiped but its alllll good! :)
@DrDope013 at the same time im on rad but i got a 2001 GT Dyno NFX blue with blue shadow chain(half link chain) and red nos grips! look it up on google but mines better!
aunt becky from full house,Mr.hand from fast times at ridgemont high, the boss villan from short circut2, adriene from the rocky movies!classic ! but thy should of had feris bueller play the lead of cru jones. My question is this, why is cru dressed like evil kenevil?i sed o race my red line @kerny moto park in san dieg when i was a kid inthe 80's.mongoose sucks and why i mongoose boss always abad guy in every movie?type cast or bad agent?you decide.all in all brought bak alot of memories.
It is one of the most gone back in time movies I have ever seen in a long time. It took me back to my adolescent years in my life. It is a movie to remember for ever to keep on mind of the younger years.
Boy dose that bring back a lot of fond memory's the era of BMX was the biggest thing in American during the 80s. the brands of bikes back then and all the parts you can get to "trick" your bike. in till the 90s came around and the BMX era came to a end now days it is Mtn Bike racing and the modern BMX "X Games" "Dose any body remember "Freestyle Magazine during the 80s"?
@flyingjay49 yea it was.I lived in PR and BMX was everywhere, from racing to freestyling.A couple of dudes on my block were into it,one of them had blue parts and tires on his chrome bike.I thought it was the coolest shit I ever saw.The simple times man. They were "Golden".
I used to watch this movie religiously when I was 14-15 years old.It was my BMX video,my and my boys would watch it and go out riding afterwards.Badass!
Great movie but never understood the ending. Why would they want that asshole Bart Taylor on the Rad team? I mean.. the dude talks shit to Christian, gives the old man a hard time about getting a table at the restaurant, then takes his own teammate out during the race. Then you wanna put this prick on your team - WTF?
@StudioGuyMN classic 80's ending were the bully learns his lession. Kinda like the end of Karate Kid, were Johnny final wasnt an asshole. You cant beat em, join em mentality
I wonder why Mongoose hired such dick-weeds to work for them. Personally, I wouldn't want my company to be represented that way in a movie I sponsored.
@carolinasled Yea i'm sure it would make alot of money with all the original actors in the movie being all old an junky lookin now after so much time....hahaha
No i'm playin it would be interesting to see after all these years how they would bring back such a classic movie with a modern style...
The fact that bart taylor stops and waits for crew to catch up totally ruins the movie... It just shows that crew couldnt have won unless bart waited for him, I felt this way when i watched as a kid and i still think its gay .

I saw this movie as a kid. Now, 15 years later, with my 4 yr old on my lapt, i find myself going through the same emotions i went through during the "send me an angel" bike dance sequence. this movie is definitely RAD and he now wants a bike where he can do those tricks cause his spiderman bike with training wheels wont let him fly over our car..
Would it be fair to label Lori Loughlin the poor man's Gina Davis? I always felt that their parts were pretty interchangable had Lori gotten similar breaks.
i seen this in the theater when i was a kid! damn! im 36 now and boy that brought it all back! god, i still got my GT stored in my parents basement!!!!!!! wonder if i can still ride like that? lol
THIS MOVIE IS BETTER THAN SLEEP. Any night. :D

Muranda dramatically exits like a motherfucker

Would it be fair to label Lori Loughlin the poor man's Gina Davis? I always felt that their parts were pretty interchangable had Lori gotten similar breaks.

hey
we may have more technical shit now and it may be harder but at least they had style back than
i don't know how a remake would go
it would be pretty cool to watch though

The 80's soundtrack is one of the best parts of this movie. I don't think it would be nearly as good if it was full of auto tune shit.
