People - he was texting. I saw this on the news yesterday and in the full vid the driver ran over to the car (while still recording) and made sure the driver was OK. The driver told the man that was recording that he was texting someone.

He obviously was drunk, I saw both a texting crash and a drunk driving crash.

The drunk driver was swerving into the lanes just like this, while the person texting ran a red light looking at his phone, and t-boned a guy.

The difference is the driving patterns of a drunk driver are much more different then a driver texting behind the wheel. Reaction times is difference, a texter is simply maneuvering the car off course based on distraction, a drunk driver drifts off violently.
