You take such an amazing and thoughtful, felt voice and couple it with textured and layered instrumentation and you get something like 'Metal Heart.' Great art creates it's own world and steals the breath out of this banal one to give itself life. Wonderful!

Cat Power is really amazing as they encompass all of the paradoxical emotions that stir human's life; from sheer sadness (Humanity's failure) to pure joy (the one that makes you want to fight for Life)....This song is a very good example, it's sad but at the same time it's truly beautiful.
