@KawaHzwo I have watched Velvet Fogg and it is not even close to the Bee Gees, as it is far too "hippy" for my liking, as I do not like or do "hippy".
Rescue workers are about to start extracting the 33 survivors from the mine explosion in Chile that occurred over two months ago. While watching the TV news, this evening, I suddenly remembered this song. Still a great song by the Bee Gee's!
:35....hahaha, dude's pissed at his brother then plays it cool with a pearly white smile. Looks like little bros fighting for king of the mountain or something
I do not think it gets any better than this, as the Bee Gees were simply superb, all through their career, as they were so adaptable to the sound of the day.
Don't have fun when i'm trying to sing Maurice! I'm Barry F'in Gibb! And I will kick you out of this band. Do you understand me?!! ........... Do you have anything to ad Robin? NO. NO I don't.
The playful act with Maurice is an old inside joke, as he is not much needed until the chorus. There are variations of this in different performances of the song through the years. It has nothing to do with drugs. it's called humour.

They must have an incredible patiense about that Maurice guy. Allways stealing the picture even though, he is the minor part of the picture.
vantom1000 5 months ago
@vantom1000 I always thought he was the most charismatic and funny of the three.
coquimontes 4 months ago
@vantom1000 Maurice was minor??? He was the only multi-instrumentalist in the band is responsible for most of their sound.

Moves me to tears every time. Wish Maurice wasn't acting the fool. This is a beautiful and meaningful song that deserves a lot of respect.

@BettinaBalser Lighten up, Francis. The Bee Gees always prided themselves for their appreciation for hijinks.

Their best stuff was from 1965 to 1970 (Odessa album). Barry never let Robin really let loose. Robin is incredible!

Very few groups can be better in concert than they are in the studio. The Bee Gees have been one such group.
