  • on 0;34 dark clould on mercury

  • At 6:35 the picture of Pluto looks like one of those disco balls at night clubs with some dark spots. lol I know it's because of the Resolution. Too bad Pluto and Eris cannot be considered planets.

  • this helped me with my science work

    thankyou :)

  • @bieberchu TEEHEE :D

  • @YourMums48Date cats

  • @bieberchu hahahahahahaha

  • This video is truly amazing.

  • @bestjonbon AWESOME VIDEO & AWESOME JOB! I LOVE ASTRONOMY! I really think that astronomy is important to the human race! If most of this generation we live in now would focus more on the true beauty of the Universe as they did as much as something as ridiculous, untalented, and uneducated as Britney Spears or Justin Bieber, or TV shows like TMZ or MTV, the world would be so much more educated! If only people would fund as much money on space exploration as they do war and all this other garbage!

  • Thumbs up for Sibelius.

  • Eris is not in the video

  • The last video, 7:44 the VY Canis Majoris is not include at the end.

  • THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING PLUTO!!!!!!!! ps good video :)

  • Nice video. Too bad Pluto isn't a planet anymore. But if we accept Pluto as a planet this solar system would have something like 200 planets.

  • fu** how Ceres is always forgotten... like a black man in America. First it was called asteroid in 18h century and even now when it's at least a dwarf planet, it's still forgotten.... like it didn't exist.

  • @lkrnpk Yeh. I saw it that Dwarf planet Ceres is not in this video.

  • awesome video!

  • Excuse me, but what were those "planets" from 7:23 on? I mean, are they considered SUNS in other galaxies or something like this?

    BTW, great video!

  • Hi @machinaeMA,

No, those are some of the larger stars, showing them in comparison to our sun. All in our galaxy. We can't really distinguish stars in others galaxies. At least not yet.

  • @bestjonbon Awesome. Thanks for the help! And keep uyp the good work with videos. You rock.

  • Some of the pictures are incorrect:;

    3:47.1-3:49.7 -- not a moon, venussurface.

3:49.7-3:55.5 -- all are saturn moons.

    4:13.8-4:16.5 -- it is saturn

    and more....

  • You would have to talk to NASA about that. They took the pictures and they identified them. Thanks for dropping in. Cheers, John

  • @bestjonbon Is that why they shutted NASA down? Because Youcytube snitched?

  • I believe that there are millions of stars and planets that the telescope cannot find. One day they will show up!

  • This didn't help anything!

  • What help were you looking for? Maybe I can suggest something.

  • To be in just the right spot we of our planet are so blessed. I only wished we could all understand this and get along with each other. For such as no planet is the same, neither are you and I. Wow. Still hard to fathom.

  • No wonder I was always fascinated with Jupiter the most! 63 moons? That would be sweet near Earth!

Calisto's beautiful! I also like Titan (Saturn). And the blue swirls on Neptune!

OMG! WTH is that huge thing besides the Sun- 7:25 ? And the other huge ass things after it (past 7:25)?? O_o

  • Bigger stars, like Sirius, Pollux, Arcturus, all the way up to star giants like Betelgeuse, Cephes, and Antares.

  • Gotcha. I see you know quite a lot about our planets and such! :p I find astonomy pretty fascinating myself! q:

Well, I never knew any stars could get any bigger than the sun! The sun's huge enough! xD lol

  • @candyxxx2006

Yeah and there WAY MORE. The biggest star ever spotted is so big that earth is a atom compared to that! The solor system + the sun is maybe a adult atom

  • I don't know guys, I still believe that so-called "Planet X" exists. I saw one scientific show 3 or 4 years ago. It showed very realistic facts about it.

  • love it !

  • Sorry to change the subject but this is space-related.

To see a partial summary of the clear evidence that the Apollo moon missions were faked, google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section of the forum there's a thread entitled "Did We Land on the Moon?". The summary is on page 15. It's the 7th one from the top.

Once people have seen the hoax evidence, there's nothing anyone can do to make them believe we went to the moon.

Also, do a YouTube search on "MarsFaker".

  • in 2818 earth might die because an astroid is going to come that is 200 tons

  • i think in 808 years from now we will have to technology to blow that shit up.

  • sirius is 1 big son of a bitch

  • where is planet x

  • planet x dosnt exist...

  • u forgot allas!!!!!!!!!

  • Looks like I forgot a lot of the smaller bits and pieces...

  • wtf you forgot ceres!

  • Nah, I'm just old-fashioned. Still believe in the nine...

  • the asteroid ceres...

  • Awsome

  • Thanks again, most sincerely!

  • Awesome video :)

  • Awesome comment! Thanks!

  • Well Done jonbon! I like your choice in music to go with this!

  • Thanks! I thought the music might work.

  • Sibelius 4 ever!!

  • Hey Jonbon,do you think there are other Earthlike planets? Do you have any meteorites? Do you find it interesting that the sun loses 5 feet of mass a day and over the billions of years that translates into many many miles? So where was earth that long ago?Are there atoms in space? Is fire a gas, liquid or solid? Its not a gas.We see because of oncoming reflected light,Since light has a measurable speed then everything we see is in the past. You have simply the best planet video on you tube.Thanks,BY7

  • Whew, you ask some interesting questions. Enough to keep one's mind busy for months. Good thinking, BY7.

    Cheers, John

  • all I can say is Fire is a chemical reaction but the chemicals react to form a Plasma. So Fire is made of highly ionised gas...

  • Excellent video !!! It makes one feel so insignificant! Sibelius' music is absolutely perfect. Happy 2009 and keep up the good work, Bob

  • Thanks, Bob!

  • This is great! Thank you very much!

  • And thank you, new friend. I enjoy your flamenco playing very much.

    Cheers, John

  • I missing your exelent video about planets. Perfect music.

  • I just surprised, wonderfull video, thanks for this uploading. 5*****'s

  • Thank you, Elemis2004. Come back and visit any time.

    Cheers, John

  • Part 3: I agree that you have let Pluto in the row of planets. Under aspect of astronomic history he has earned to hold this ranking.

And then this rather big moon he has......

  • Part 2: Ok, there is nothing new for me, perhaps the number of moons of Jupiter and Saturn is going up every month. And an asteroid picture was also new. But important are these videos for thousands of users to learn a bit about our star system.

    Great quality too !!!

  • Thanks for both comments, Hoffmann9471. They were thoughtful comments and I appreciate them.

  • 3 Kommentare !

  • Yeah! Thanks for the third comment as well (plus the nice comments you sent me on Pluto and my channel.

    Cheers, John

  • I read and look everything what I can get about our solar system and astronomy.

    Wunderbar Video. 5**********

  • if i were a student in the school, i would be more smart!

  • Ah, my YouTube class is growing. Heh, heh. Thanks, Visitationvirginmary.

  • Whoa there!!! Amateurs (like me) LEARN! Maestro at work! Fantastic!

  • Finlandia fit this perfectly. I made one, though much less detailed, from part of Holst's Jupiter. Your pictures are better though, i must admit. Solid video. You know your solar system. The ending was definitely the best though.

  • i learn more names that i never remember since then now it nice to view this one...thanks angel for send it...and thank you so much bestjonbon for your excellent videos... more power friend ...w/ care marian

  • Excellent !

  • Awesome video...Beautiful!

    *****

  • Great!!!

  • Thank you so much for this beautiful and very interesting video. Emotion is turning my eyes wet when I see all these planets, especially when I discover how big are the last ones.

How small are we : thank you for this great idea. It's fantastic. Five stars.

  • Even with all the crap we do to it, the Earth still looks very beautiful from afar.

  • Wonderful and interesting

ps. buono il vino sud Africano!!!^_^

  • An amazing and informative presentation. Sure makes us realise how insignificant we are.

  • Amazing images...Wow! The universe is a fantastic place! makes you find kinda small when you think of the vastness of space..

    Regards

    Kev

  • I am very impressed, how small we finaly are, and we are not alone out there...
