Excuse me friends but I am here to make a point by flagging this video for promoting hate speech. Now here is my reasons a certain video on youtube titled 'To Arms in Dixie' a sort of confederate anthem of sorts was deemed 'potentially offensive' to some viewers and was flagged because of it. If that is the case then this song needs to be deemed offensive along with all other anthems or songs that support national pride.
If the PIPA and SOPA bills are passed by our "lovely" law makers in Washington, then this video and site will be shut down due to "copy rights"...Jackasses!!! What is the difference if we see stuff on here or showed on T.V as a repeat??
@WhatssSoFunny No no no no, In terms of military, America was great, you won pretty much all battles. What you don't take into consideration is that modern warfare goes beyond that. It involves factors such as finance, organisation and in terms of the Vietnam war, public support. War is the continuation of politics.
@Malusregnum I think that what has happened is that the US, and indeed the west as a whole, has come up against a warfare that it cannot effectively combat as a whole - guerilla warfare.
Even the smallest Western Army could quite easily flatten the forces of a "lesser" nation on the open field. I see where you're coming from, and I agree war is changing and public opinion is hugely important, but I don't think that it can any longer be considered a "continuation of politics."

People see a photo of a South Vietnamese general blowing out the brains of a young Viet Cong officer, the anti-war left and hippies cry out in protest, the democratic congress of '74 pulls the funding that America promised to the South Vietnamese, the war is lost, and our soldiers are spit upon.

@royblack The US in not a highly militarized society, Americans have pride and respect for the military but you'll never see thousands of soldiers and tanks marching past the White House. Patriotism in America is very strong and is (sports, culture, our flag, and our military) but like a said we don't have military parades we respect the individual soldiers, veterans, and the fallen heroes because we owe everything to them.

Many Polish people (even possibly you) would not have been born or be alive today if it was not for the help of the USA. We helped save many people in your country. @e0o9kii Yes actually there are a lot of French Soldier's at the base where I am. They are cool bunch for the most part. I had a discussion with French Sergeant and he was questioning why he had been deployed to Afghanistan. That's not unusual though, there are plenty of American Soldiers who ask the same question. I guess anyone deployed to a combat zone asks the question at one time or another.

Many Polish people (even possibly you) would not have been born or be alive today if it was not for the help of the USA. We helped save many people in your country. The US helped us in the last part of the Philippine Revolution to gain our freedom from the Spanish.
US helped us rebuild our economy and infastructure after the Philippine-American War and the Americans overthrew that murderer 'President Auginaldo' Philippine-American War.
US is the ONLY country which helped us fight JAP in WW2.
The US makes aprox 74% of all business&jobs in the Philippines.

The British were fighting in Malaya and Hong Kong and the Australians were fighting in Papua.
Our historical records only report American and Filipino soldiers fighting the Japanese.
American generals like President Roosavelt, Gen Douglas McArthur and Gen Wainwright are actualy national heroes in the Philippines. Rare to see a non-Filipino as our National Hero.

@e0o9kii Yes actually there are a lot of French Soldier's at the base where I am. They are cool bunch for the most part. I had a discussion with French Sergeant and he was questioning why he had been deployed to Afghanistan. That's not unusual though, there are plenty of American Soldiers who ask the same question. I guess anyone deployed to a combat zone asks the question at one time or another.

@wombat319 Not all foreigners dislike the USA. I am Filipino and the majority of us Filipinos love the US. According to a BBC poll, 72-82% of Filipinos have a favorable view of the US making the Philippines the most pro-American country in Asia.
We also have not forgotten the US sacrifices in WW2 and General Douglas McArthur who led US forces in liberating the Philippines from Japan.
I am Filipino and I love the USA and I have family in the US.

@IlersichProductions Because the USA is fantastic and God Save the Queen is about only one person, whereas our anthem is about our whole country and us as Americans, come together as one Americans. We love our country so much. And every Brit I've ever talked to/asked doesn't seem to care about/like the Queen or royalty. But God Save the Queen is a great anthem too. We're allies forever. God Save the Queen as a tune sucks. As the monarchy embodies the British nation (as the flag does the American), I can't fault the words, though.
Australia, Canada, America, even FRANCE (you will never hear this from an Englishman again) have better national anthems than us!

The Manlicher Carcano, 7.62, an Italian rifle known to be inaccurate, is the last rifle any shooter would use. The JFK murder is a relatively easy one to figure out. 75 Witnesses saw a shooter on the grassy knoll, including ex special forces soldiers. It was a CIA -mafia- FBI hit.

Cremation was required since Auschwitz was built on a swamp ! ( no mass graves) If your relative saw some cremations, ( which I doubt) it means nothing. After talking with a retired insider who was involved in JFK protection before the hit and the investigation after, I was left speechless. I then did my own research. JFK was making enemies at FBI, CIA, DOD, and big oil. Lots of folks wanted him gone. Hoover covered it up. Hoover was also close friends with his DC neighbor...LBJ!
