get sample cut it save it will ask you were just tap the pad u want it on if theres o sound there it will allow u to save it there.

@PznRen Other way around, at least in the case of the MPC. It was intended to be a highly advanced drum macine, which functions through the use of short samples which the user can define. Therefore, the MPC is a sampler. A drum machine generally comes with a set of sounds and samples which aren't interchangeable. The MPC is totally editable and therefore is better categorized as a sampler.

mpd is a controller. you can load sounds into the pads but its not a sampler! so it does not work as a mpc
