you can see in the LRO photos that there is much disturbance around the area of the lunar lander. But you have to remember that when they took off they detatched the ascent stage from the descent stage. The blast would be directed on to the descent stage as opposed to the lunar surface itself.
In photos of the lander's feet you can see material blown on top as well as material compacted underneath.

One is that they had to carry even more fuel to carry the weight of the fuel to be used later on, so you end up with even more fuel than just a simple 1 to 6 ratio. They also don't have to overcome friction in the atmosphere on the moon, but most importantly they don't have to get in to Earth orbit since they already are by virtue of the fact that the moon is in Earth orbit. *And* reentry kills speed with friction. So many reasons.

@joseonacar There are no stars because they are shooting in daylight light levels. for stars to be picked up by film you need a long exposure, at least a second or two. These shots were likely closer to 1/200th of a second. Take a picutre of someone at night with the stars behind them, if you use the flash, you'll see no stars in the sky.

@megpennywhistle I'm not actually noticing a huge difference in their shadows. They are hard to compare because one shadow starts in the very edge of the foreground, whereas the other shadow starts in the middle of the frame. Even measuring it they aren't that different. The further one away would of course look smaller. And the shadows are not being cast on a perfectly flat surface. If they had two lights you'd see two shadows coming from each object and/or see overlapping lit areas.

For example, if you drop a feather in the atmosphere it floats slowly down to the ground due to air pushing up against the bottom while it falls to the ground. If you drop a feather in a vaccum it will drop rapidly to the ground due to no air resistance. That is why the flag waves faster in the vaccum.

Space telescopes however can, such as LRO, Kaguya, LROC,Chandrayaan, and LP. It would mean ESA, JAXA, Roscosmos, and the IRSO would have to be on the hoax with them, not saying a word for decades. Rather ridiculous.

Of everything you listed only LROC is powerful enough to image the landing sites, and to date is the only one to do so (additionally it's a bit redundant to mention LRO and LROC since LROC is just the camera on the LRO). Kaguya and Chandrayaan have both ceased operation without imaging the landing sites in detail (they couldn't anyway)

One is that they had to carry even more fuel to carry the weight of the fuel to be used later on, so you end up with even more fuel than just a simple 1 to 6 ratio. They also don't have to overcome friction in the atmosphere on the moon, but most importantly they don't have to get in to Earth orbit since they already are by virtue of the fact that the moon is in Earth orbit. *And* reentry kills speed with friction. So many reasons.

@joseonacar There are no stars because they are shooting in daylight light levels. for stars to be picked up by film you need a long exposure, at least a second or two. These shots were likely closer to 1/200th of a second. Take a picutre of someone at night with the stars behind them, if you use the flash, you'll see no stars in the sky.

@megpennywhistle I'm not actually noticing a huge difference in their shadows. They are hard to compare because one shadow starts in the very edge of the foreground, whereas the other shadow starts in the middle of the frame. Even measuring it they aren't that different. The further one away would of course look smaller. And the shadows are not being cast on a perfectly flat surface. If they had two lights you'd see two shadows coming from each object and/or see overlapping lit areas.

If there was supposed to a crater under the engine as seen in artist illustrations, why wasn't one added by the alleged hoaxers? Why would the astronauts take pictures of underneath the LM?
Even if you make CT assumptions, it still doesn't make sense.
In lunar gravity the LM wouldn't weigh 10,000 lb at touch down.
If the LM is to land, it couldn't use full thrust.

I cant believe anyone would doubt the moon landing, Its really common sense. For example, if you drop a feather in the atmosphere it floats slowly down to the ground due to air pushing up against the bottom while it falls to the ground. If you drop a feather in a vaccum it will drop rapidly to the ground due to no air resistance. That is why the flag waves faster in the vaccum.

And while they may have briefly reproduced one aspect of the lunar environment at a time in certain other experiment (vacuum OR 1/6 g OR wide spaces), they never reproduced ALL of them together for hours at a time. Yet the Apollo videos were shot in just such a place.

Also, if NASA faked going to the moon, with the motives of beating the to it USSR and humiliating them, why didn't the USSR call them on it?
With their own landers, orbiters, tracking stations, lunar soil samples, radiation measurements, if anyone would know it was a hoax and would have a motive for revealing a hoax, it would be the USSR.
So why didn't they?

why dont they point the hubble at the moon and photo the stuff left up there ? why dont they use the lunar satellites to photo the stuff left there ? just like google earth ?

Lies. The LRO went from the earth to the moon, had a telescope on board, and photographed ALL of the apollo landing sites. That includes the flag.

@Glinkaism1 No Earthbound telescope can observe it because of atmospheric distortion and no telescope has the necessary aperture. Space telescopes however can, such as LRO, Kaguya, LROC,Chandrayaan, and LP. It would mean ESA, JAXA, Roscosmos, and the IRSO would have to be on the hoax with them, not saying a word for decades. Rather ridiculous.

Of everything you listed only LROC is powerful enough to image the landing sites, and to date is the only one to do so (additionally it's a bit redundant to mention LRO and LROC since LROC is just the camera on the LRO). Kaguya and Chandrayaan have both ceased operation without imaging the landing sites in detail (they couldn't anyway)

I assume by "earth to moon telescope" you mean ground based telescopes here on earth, because they did send the LRO from the earth to the moon, and it used a telescope to image the landing sites in great detail.
So if they really had landed on the moon then telescopes on earth would be powerful enough to see the landing sites? How would landing on the moon make telescopes more powerful?
