  • I was driving towards South Bend that day, and you can see footage of it in part five of the series in my channel "Huliganov's American Experience". Enjoy. Liked your footage, btw.

  • wow, good thing that most students are home by then. What happened? And as Narzedie7001 mentioned, how'd South Bend faired?

  • hey primadog, the rest of south bend was just as bad, the next day i had to drop off a friend at the south bend regional airport, and going from the airport to DT south bend, you could see trees down every where

  • ohh bitch and moan. what about the rest of south bend?

  • i canNOT believe that happened!! does campus look totally different now without those trees?

  • Actually they cleaned it up in a hurry and other than a few ugly stumps you'd never know it happened. They'll probably have new trees up by Fall. Don't know about the Basilica though...

  • Thanks for the post...I go to Mass at the Basilica. Blessed there wasn't more damage and NO injuries. Thanks agan for posting. Have a great summer!

  • i saw a funnel cloud go right by my house, there was a small touchdown about a mile away

  • Great job, Zinski. Class of 78, Stanford Hall. Good work getting that camera around. Many thanks for helping keep us up to date.

  • I was there and it was very scary! The wind would not let the doors on Nieuwland Science hall close, it kept sucking them back open.

  • Thanks for posting this. I was on campus several times while my daughter went there, so I was distressed to hear about the damage to this beautiful place. We're so thankful that no one was injured. Our Lady must have been watching over everyone!

  • whats happen there...
